The fish was fresh and bouncy, but the soup was very lightly flavoured, to the point of having almost no flavour.
Tua Keat Bak Kut Teh is located in a coffee shop near West Coast Plaza and within walking distance from West Coast Food Center. No doubt that its only a small stall in the coffee shop, I'm quite surprise by the number of dishes they offered on their menu.
Overall, I'm not sure what's the hype but I will like to make a return to try out their herbal seafood soup.
I used to visit Taman Selera West Coast for their Mee Rebus Satay as it is a special dish that we seldom get to see from the hawkers. However, today we are not ordering this dish as the guests were craving local meat skewers aka Satay.

The Teochew Chai Poh Kway Teow was smoky, slightly hard with a chao ta crust of sorts, with big chunks of chai poh, perhaps a bit too big.
Perhaps the downside may be its steep pricing when we could get a bowl of fish bee hoon at $3 but considering the portion and freshness, the amount paid was well worth it.
