One must tru here is their Oraoshi Toriniku Nanban. Enjoy the succulent and juicy deep fried chicken chunks which is beautifully topped with the grated radish, and then dipped them with their Nanban Sauce. The chicken comes simply tender and juicy too!
Overall, another nice visit and glad to find out some of their other dishes are as good as their tonkatsu. Going to stick to their omelette on future visit. And hope to check out their noodles and nabemono pot too.
The reason why they have so many regular customers is their tonkatsu. The perfect crispy skin and well marinated tender meat and don’t forget to dip into their katsu sauce with Japanese sesame seed. The end product is heart warming tonkatsu experience that you will adore.
I ordered the Curry Tonkatsu – a house specialty – but was disappointed with the mediocre portion. I wanted to chalk it up to the plate being big, but nope – rice was generous, but there wasn’t enough meat to go around. It did come served with a side of miso soup and tofu, though.
