Overall, I highly recommend this stall if you crave affordable and delicious humble Malay dishes like the Mee rebus, lontong and even Nasi Lemak
The taste of Ura Hototogisu Ramen stands out and differs from other ramen chains, however, I still find that these ramen taste decent and there are better Ramen out there.
That shredded lettuce on the side was just plain weird and out of place, while the broth wasn't anything that exciting either. At least it wasn't sweet like I worried it would be.
This is a chili crab version at his Causeway Point outlet (with a limited run at his 100 AM outlet too).
Tried their "muscular" looking tori karaage. Liked it.
Menya Kokoro is currently featuring a bunch of best sellers from their shops all over where they have shops.
A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
I went for his "Oriental" bowl, which was really just Thai with its lemongrass, chili, garlic, and fish sauce.
I enjoyed it. Nice, firm and refreshing noodles with textures from vegetables and tenkasu.
The Hototogisu folks have opened up a fifth outlet in Singapore, this time at 100AM (100 Tras Street #01-01).
