Remember the old timer genki sushi? It's back in Sunway Pyramid here. Now you place the order by browsing their website and the food/drink will be sent to you using the train.
The ramen is quite good but in general the soup is more salty than other ramen restaurants. You can get a bowl of soup base to add on to your ramen to reduce the saltiness.
After hiking Wawasan Hill in the morning, this is the restaurant that we go for breakfast usually. They are famous for their 姜酒猪肉粉。I like the soup of their fish head noodles as well.
Generally the pan mee is quite ok but feel like lack of something. Anyway, it's worth to try. The 盐酥鸡 can be skipped though.
We thought this is another dim sum restaurant, apparently it's a fast food chain for bao and dim sum. Besides having the food in the restaurant, there are actually more options for frozen bao and dim sum which attracts quite some crowd to take away.
The dry bak kut teh here is nice and thick with the taste of fried squid. Of course the traditional soup bak kut teh is not bad as well. Yet to try other dishes.
I like the wantan mee here. The noodles seem much slimmer than the most of other places but it's chewy and the sauce is good. The dried prawn mee is quite ok, nothing to shout about though.
In general, the food is good. I tried the Chả Cá Lã Vọng – Hanoian Style Fish with Tumeric & Dill as the one I tried in Hanoi was superb.
The pork burger was good and in big portion. However the sisig was too dry and there's something chewy in it which I have no idea what was it. Anyway, the service is fast and the food is generally good, so I'll come back again.
This restaurant was highly recommended by my friends, however the food quality was so-so only when I was there, maybe different chef? Or perhaps I have too high expectation.
We quite like this restaurant especially the Friday banana leaf set is good. The tandoori chicken is nice too, not too dry. Will come back again.
New flavor in the town - murusaki sweet potato cheesecake. Better than the melon flavor, but still I prefer the original cheese flavor.
Those who love spicy food would love this place where you can choose the spiciness level. Actually the stir fried without chilly option was quite good as well.
Finally able to try the infamous banana leaf rice in this restaurant that is hidden at the upper floor of a row of shops around Puchong.
The wantans here are really bigger than other places. Some how the char siew is square-ish, not the same as other places as well. Anyway, the taste is not bad, giving the price is reasonable, that's the attraction point.
