Cinque Terre is the most interesting place of our entire Europe trip. "The Five Lands" comprises five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Colourful houses are build on rugged terrain up the cliff, facing the Mediterranean sea, which makes it very scenic. There are hiking trails connecting the five villages, and the food here is great as well.
