The hike to the peak could be quite challenging and take the entire day, so it's a good either to start early or stop at mid path. Gunung Nuang is a famous training ground before you embark to climb higher mountains.

It started with an hour of long and boring flat road, then crossing a few river before we start ascending. Beware if the weather is bad, and I have seen a few fallen trees on the path during bad weather. It's a quite a pleasant hike to mid hill.

From mid hill to the peak become slight more challenging as it involves a bit of climbing (after all, it's the highest peak in Selangor). The view at the peak is nice (though not breathtaking), with plenty of space of rest. You can opt for camping as well.
