We went to Kyoto Station early to have breakfast and accidentally bump into Inoda Coffee, which is slightly higher end and favorite of the locals. We did have to queue at 8AM. We have scramble egg with ham, croissant, juice and coffee set for 1200 Yen, and another prawn toast set for Mei Ru. It's a satisfying breakfast, and the prawn toast did taste good.

It's a good day as we didn't make any mistake boarding the Nohi Bus to Takayama. It's only 20% full on a Monday morning.

The bus stop 2 times along the way for 15 minutes break, with 2-3 minor stops along the way. It's a comfortable journey which is on time.

Takayama feels like a smaller town, but still quite a big place to walk around. K's House (our accommodation) is clean, nice with English speaking staff. It has a kitchen, dining area and common area.

Many shops seems to closed at 3PM (we realized the next day is a national holiday). Takayama seems a bit quiet (perhaps not a weekend), most shops sells Miso, Alcohol and the red hida lucky charm.
