Haven been here for quite a while. Lunch set (food, drink and ice-cream) is quite reasonably priced for a cafe, but the duck rice lack sauce.

2 main (Teriyaki Chicken Rice and Fish Mee Hoon) dish have ongoing 15% discount. Taste wise are just okay.

Affordable and tasty Taiwan meals. The 控肉 stewed pork is pretty good.

Strangely, there are less crowd today but the service is slower as well.

Good good and fast service, reasonable pricing.

Fried rice with drumstick is pretty good. The drumstick had very crispy skin.

The coconut cake is a bit hard today. This outlet has expanded to 2 shops.

Haven't come here for quite while due to the crowd (full house by 8.30pm).

Coffee ball and souffle with ice-cream are our favorite, sadly the book collection here had not been updated.

Pretty long wait (about 45m) at 6.15pm at Saturday weekend.

I like the Hakka mee, soup noodle and fish cake.

Always the perfect place for afternoon tea in IOI mall.

Food is good, not expensive and good service. Tomyam is pretty spicy, salted grilled Talapia fish is good and grilled Grab for about RM 110+ per kg.

Always my favorite wantan mee in Puchong.

Quite a few Good Taste restaurants pop-up around Punchong, offering decent meals with quite some variety.

Pretty good western breakfast. Then again, the chalkboard menu isn't really practical.

This is a bigger and further island, but Mamutik is better for snorkeling.

Nice and clean beach, just 20 minutes from Kota Kinabalu. Snorkeling is alright with clean water and some fishes, not much corals though. Plenty of tiny jellyfish 😓

Plenty of Chinese and Korean tourists. Pack your lunch and drinks (maybe include tea as well) before going to the islands.

RM 30+ per person to go to two islands (different operators offer different packages). Snorkeling gear and life jacket included. Plenty of food stalls at the jetty as well.

A basic farmstay hostel on top of a small hill in Tenom. The view is pretty good, and the food served is nice with fruits.

Trusmadi is famous for its pitcher plants of unique shape, and you get a nice view of Mt Kinabalu.

We started hiking up from our base camp around 1am and it took 4 hours to reach the peak. The night sky is clear with plenty of sparkling stars. It gets pretty cold at the peak even though there is not much wind. We are lucky to see the sun rise with clear sky. There is a tower at the peak to give you 360 unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains.

Trusmadi is quite a journey from Kota Kinabalu. It took 2 hours to Keningau, then another 2 hours by 4 wheel to reach the base camp. There are three routes, we took the Mastan Trail (Apin-Apin Keningau).

Pretty popular breakfast place. The dried noodle and bun is pretty good.

First day of the trip, staying at a budget hotel in Keningau.

Hotel is a bit old, but still decent. Plenty of shops nearby within 5-15 minutes walk.

Not as popular as La Juceira next door, but the food is pretty alright. Nasi Lemak and cakes are good.

Pretty alright mango shake and rojak.

Didn't go for the tour, but plenty bought the rice and food.
