Today we start our venture from Tibet to Eastern side, going to Pagsum Lake. The scenery is pretty snowy as we pass by Mila Mountain Pass, but couldn't see much due to heavy fog.
This is a beautiful lake with a small island with a temple on it. Sadly weather is not perfect.
The default package only allowed a small part of the place to be explored, which would take less than an hour. We heard of a hiking tour in the introduction video, where it seems more interesting.
There is a stream of river, a dam, field of yellow flowers (June) and plenty of black piggies along the way before reaching the entrance.
This hotel is decent and nice. The breakfast is one of the better ones by Tibetan hotel standard.
Having hotpot chicken again, it's pretty good, our guide claim this place is quite famous.
Visited a village next to National Road 318 before reaching BoMe. The village is very beautiful.
Nice fish and Cantonese meals are served here, pretty good. Don't order the stream egg with red herbs.
Scenery from BoMe to RanWu lake, then towards Midui Glacier.
On the way back to Baka Village, we are stuck in traffic for more than 5h due to road construction.
The lake is average, but the new structure is pretty nice. This place is free though.
We take a horse ride (RMB100) to the glacier viewpoint. The view is alright, horse ride also not bad.
A pretty resort hotel near the lake, with nice service and good food. The surrounding is very beautiful as well.
