There is a river crossing after 别克山庄 where the water is flowing rapidly. Luckily we found a wooden crossing made up of a few small tree trunks. I felt nervous about it, and luckily we made it safely. If the water had gone higher it would have blown the "bridge" away.

It started drizzling again (the good thing about mountain rain here is that it is never too heavy). The scenery is made up of vast plains, animal gazing the grass and big mountains, and occasionally some horses running around.

Soon after we met with a second river crossing, and the water is flowing rapidly. This time the bridge is made up of single small tree trunks very close to the water. Luckily a horse rider is nearby where he kindly ferry us over. It's not a simple task as the horse is slightly nervous and the weight is heavy with 2 person and a big backpack at each round.

He is a kind horseman live nearby, helped us and get back to his work. True kindness.

Soon we found a large rock to take a break for lunch, where the sun started to shine and the rain is gone.

It seems 半路客栈's lady boss called her relative in 禾木 Hemu to pick us up halfway so that there is a high chances we would stay at their place. We are surprised and afraid they might pick up the wrong person, but it's all well. We get a free horse ride for the last 1.5KM and most accommodation and food around this area is pretty much the same anyway, as long as the price is within the standard range.

We enjoy the horse riding, which is pretty comfortable. 禾木 is quite a large village with a few hundred houses in the valley, which is beautiful.
