The reviews I read on their Facebook Page seem pretty mixed of late with complaints of either the long wait for a table, the service or they didn't fancy the type of food served. As far as the food was concerned, I had no complaints on the two we tried that morning. Not only did it taste good, it was beautifully plated as well. In fact, their version of french toast is the best version I've had so far. I actually liked that their menu is a bit more creative than the usual cafe food we get elsewhere but if you're looking for some variation of a big breakfast, you won't find it here. So, patrons looking for the standard breakfast fare of bacon, ham, sausages and eggs done any way, let me forewarn you that you might be up for some disappointment. Our half an hour wait, during peak brunch hours on a public holiday, was more than acceptable for a place like this with so much awareness. Due to the crowd, even the owner cum chef helped cleared tables and served us, so I'm pleased with the service. When we left a little over an hour later, there was still a perpetual queue (but none at the other eateries). So, what does that tell you about its popularity...or their food? ;) Personally, I would return in a heartbeat. I would so love to try more of their food...and eat that french toast again! ^o^

The yam paste is very thick and soft so I like it. Red curry [Pork (RM19.80)/ Seafood (RM23.80)] If you adore hot and spicy food, this dish is not to be missed. There's just something so unique about Thai's red coconut, which sits on the sweeter side in comparison to Malaysian curry, but delicious in their very own distinct way. This curry is ideal to be eaten with rice, its thick and savoury broth would make you engulf the rice in no time. We opted for pork, and they were pretty fresh and came in decent amount. Basically their curry is on par with most of the Thai food chains out there, but are more reasonably priced. So the next time you're craving for Thai curry but not ready to burn a hole in your wallet, this place is definitely your go to.

Ticklish Ribs & 'Wiches - The Gardens Mall Restaurant

From Malaysia to Indonesia, Japan to Thailand, Australia to America. We've eaten at over 100 pork rib restaurants before deciding that our BBQ ribs are worth sharing with the world. Here's an idea of what you can expect from our recipe. A Colonel once conquered the world with a single recipe of 11 herbs and spices. Our recipe has 30. Combine that with an Asian cooking style and you'll know why our BBQ ribs are just bursting with flavours. Sticky and crackly on the outside. Fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy on the inside.

My friend cannot get used to it and so she removed the skin from 3 segments and left them uneaten. I finished my popiah because I like to eat doughy pancakes. Prawns Wanton Noodle (Soup) at MYR 15.09++ (MYR 17.50 nett). Thin and springy noodles in flavourful soup. Looking back at the price of Sheng Kee prawns wanton noodle (soup) back in 2017, I am surprised to find that it is almost the same which means this price is not high after all.

I would advise you to walk across to Absolute at The Gardens instead. Their quality in general is way better - and it explains the crowd difference. Absolute Gardens is always full, as compared to Amarin which was not even half full on a Friday night.

Nestled between the two giant malls of The Gardens and Mid Valley Mega Mall, this place is definitely an eye-catcher with its chic and modern design from the outside! Donning huge orange wordings on all of their ceiling-to-floor windows, this place is calling out to you and welcoming you with great warmth from afar. This place is currently occupying only the first floor, but renovation work has already commenced in hopes to expand its space which will include an al-fresco dining setting to accommodate more patrons who either loves their food, or their lively vibes throughout the entire place!
