The menu had a bit of everything, from traditional Malay cooking to afternoon scones. A bit of Italian pasta in the mix as well. So, we had some rice. They were way better than expected. As Anita and my Mum visited the garden, I went around exploring the restaurant. The had a small area for music in the evening, overlooking the valley. I was sure the panorama in the evenings would be spectacular. Added that to the cool mountain air, we should have a clear winner.

We also ordered their English cream tea for two (RM 38)…which came with scones, clotted cream, jam and a selection of cakes and pies. The highlight was the orange cake, the pie and the other cakes were forgettable and the scones weren’t the best.
