We ordered seconds of those because they were that good. I was extremely happy with this meal.
Overall, we are delighted to have tried the food at AWADH.
Food at Awadh is North Indian cuisine, focused on the regional speciality of royal Awadhi cuisine. Over 120 spices feature across dishes in the wide-ranging menu, with spices being painstakingly hand ground and blended.
We enjoyed our dining experience at Awadh, and will be back for more.
It was indeed an eye-opener experience in understanding Lucknowi cuisine and the rich history behind it.
I've been curious about this place for a while now (176 Orchard Road #01-33H, 6909-9971). It specializes in Awadhi cuisine from Lucknow; they say that they serve a royal cuisine with Persian and Mughlai influences.
It's pretty expensive (even for takeaway/delivery), but fortunately they have reasonably-priced weekday lunch sets like the one in the bottom right corner. Yes, it was refined and tasty.
