Luan Fong Coffee Shop is the shop at Bagan Luar, just behind the MPSP big field that is renounced by its famous beef koay teow soup and also the toast, and coffee. This is the place where people queue up and waited for their turn just to get a seat for these delicacies. The beef koay teow soup here is the father of the Famous BM beef koay teow soup that selling for over 30 years, the coffee and toast here has been around for decades too.
The beef noodle served here is one of the best in town, having rich and light broth with mixture of edible beef parts, and the beef balls are delicious. It is notable that the stall uses only halal-ceritified beef in the noodles.
Most people are after the delicious Hainanese Chicken Chop, a fairly priced item at RM 13.50 Personally, we enjoyed the chicken chop. The large chicken fillet has been cut into small slices, and the thick gravy complemented it well by introducing a nice aroma yet without affecting the crispy texture of the chicken chop. Although it appeared to be a heavy dish but it tasted light and easy-going in the palate.
