Bloom by Mokmok – Cafe at Johor Bahru Malaysia
While the outside of the cafe seemed pretty ordinary, the design of it's interior is impressive and so so very pretty.
Perhaps every instagram user who goes to Johor has a picture at this almost iconic restaurant. The ambience alone is almost enough for many to make the trip here, with flowers hanging off the ceiling and the lights dim down low.
Overall, the food served here is very good for a modern café and the pricing is quite reasonable and friendly for the pocket. Do expect to queue during weekends as we waited close to 30 – 45mins to get a table.
KAARAGE CHICKEN SIGNATURE BOWL (RM 23.00) Their signature rice tastes very special, the crispy fried chicken drizzled with aioli sauce, onsen egg served over the rice. This rice set has included a healthy salad that mixed with various vegetables and fruits. The rice has been stir fried with their homemade sauce that you can taste the fruit aroma. It can be a bit repulsive to those who do not like the fruit fragrance.
The delicious food combined with the bright flowers, it really is "color and flavor" .
Teo suggests the Lamb choice from the Signature Bowl list, made with Mok Mok signature rice, topped with strips of succulent leg of lamb marinated in masala spices and a Japanese onsen egg.
