Old school restaurant serving old school hot plate chicken chop, nicely crispy outside and tender inside, with a peppery and savoury black pepper sauce. The baked potato was really soft, rich and creamy too.
Looking at their menu, they have attractive lunch sets set differently for each day of the week as well as weekends. There is also one lady server whom I thought that the service was friendly and impeccable. I will be back again for them.
I went to Mariner's Corner tonight, in part because I was drawn by their pitch for this oxtail stew: it seems that Hainanese chefs from the colonial days were known for this dish, and this was the family's recipe from those days. Yes, it was fall-off-the-bone tender, and it came out piping hot in that clay pot with a mildly tangy sauce.
Aku makan sehabis banyak dah, nak kira OR aku tu lagi lah. Secubit dua sini sana. Macam rugi pun ya. Rugi sebab tak mampu nak makan semua !!!

Overall, Essen at the Pinnacle turned out to be an interesting place to have lunch. The variety and quality of food is good. The atmosphere is relaxed and the drinks list very interesting.
It is good overall though but I do not think I will come purposely just for it. Read more: http://www.allaboutceil.com/2021/03/lao-gu-ban-old-fashioned-noodles.html#ixzz6pMaNI0t8
These were pretty good - were tender and had the sweetness of prawns in them.
Here’s to the ones who make heartwarming meals like this possible!
Quite decent roast meats as a whole but not so outstanding that I'd come back specially for.
With their generous portions and reasonable prices, this is a great place to indulge in a satisfying burger.
I don't dislike the food here but I didn't feel that there was much that would make me definitively like them either. Wouldn't come out of the way just to eat their noodles.
Garçons reflects a trend I like to see, that you can get quality food at a food court, while keeping the price point competitive.
This Japanese style Mee Pok, which highlights both cultures, is one of those which works.

A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
Every item was good, with the only exception being the noodles having a slight kee or alkaline flavour, although this was made up for by the outstanding sauce made of dried shrimps and kelp.

Birds Of A Feather 2022 115 Amoy Street #01-01 https://www.birdsofafeather.com.sg/ Pork Dumplings (SGD $17)
Overall, this is the first time I came to BOF and I totally enjoyed the food here. Instead of the overpowering spicy Sichuan cuisine, most of the dishes have been well thought out, multi-layered yet balanced, delicious and well-executed.
Popular Sichuan-Western restaurant Birds Of A Feather located at Amoy Street spots a new menu, after a year long exploration and research by Executive Chef Eugene See.
Dishes are generally still good, though prices have also gone up as with most establishments in Singapore.
The highlight was the Nasi Lemak so we ordered the signatures and side dishes to try for 5 of us.
Oh well… food and services are good and we will surely be back next time.

The One-Michelin starred restaurant at Duxton Road Restaurant JAG spots a new Autumn Menu, and it extends the herb driven cuisine by Chef Jeremy.
Restaurant JAG is not your typical French restaurant and its uniqueness is certainly what earned it its Michelin star.
The baristas share their passion for coffee with customers both from Japan and from abroad as they go about their day. It is their aim to make coffee a part of customers’ daily lives just as much as it is a part of theirs.
For those who love coffee and enjoy cafe hopping, I bet that Baristart is something that cannot be missing out from your list for they are the first c
Cream puff's pretty good. Reminded me of those from Beard Papa.
The Feather Blade definitely attracts a younger dining crowd with its competitive pricing and location in the buzzing Tanjong Pagar Road which is surrounded by numerous Korean restaurants. You can’t go wrong with their steak here, and if you fancy, some cocktails to go along.
It’s a place—price-point and food-wise—that young people would like.
Really adult and almost manly handshake burger, which was an off the menu item.

Esquina has been on the list for awhile and my birthday dinner was there. I enjoy Tapas and small bites and hoped the experience would be a great one! The star of the show is the Suckling Pig.
Wonderful experience at Esquina, few years too late but i'm glad they're still around! Definitely not my last visit for sure.
we concluded the meal, relishing in yet another happy dining experience at Wine And Chef.
Very ordinary squid ink pasta – I couldn’t taste the uni in the sauce at all.
