Overall, the food is good and the prices are reasonable. The people there are friendly and we do enjoyed our dining experience there with our boys and friends. We don’t mind going back to Yakitori Haki Cheras Business Centre again.
Yakitori taste wasn't best, slightly salty sauce, perhaps best to have it with beer.
A Great place to have Lunch or brunch with friends and family.
The Hainanese Chicken Rice is their crowd favorite and it sure was delicious. It tasted exactly as it should. The rice was seasoned and dense, just how I liked it. The steamed chicken was generous. There were about 8 pieces and each piece was thick. This meant that a single piece can last you through a few mouths of rice. My usual problem with chicken rice is that the chicken finishes before the rice. That sure wasn’t an issue here. It was thick and steamed to perfection. I enjoyed it lots. The dish also comes with an egg, broccoli and a serving of soy sauce, chili paste and garlic paste. This was a good dish 👌👌
The non-halal Chinese version Nasi Lemak comes with Petai minced pork, Luncheon meat, Fried Egg; however, you can also opt for Curry chicken patato, Fried chicken, or Vegetables (each choice of add-ons comes with different prices from rm$1 to rm$4).
Don't miss out their coco rasberry cheesecake which is super savory and delicious with a delightful cup of coffee OH!!~~
Moo Ping was damn good and it’s a must try in Mookata Authentic Thai BBQ. Pork is moist and juicy that it just melts in the mouth. Moo Ping @ RM 10
Prices of RM1 - RM2 are certainly very affordable...and anything between 10 - 15 skewers per person (for an average-to-big appetite) should be more than sufficient for one to be fully satiated. Though the place seems better-known for its lok lok, it was the grilled and deep-fried items that ended up being the skewers that I enjoyed eating the most. They need to rethink their satay broth base or rework it into a thicker, nuttier, spicier, tastier satay sauce that rocks! ^_~ Eat here only if you can get past my side observation and is not squeamish about re-used sticks! :P
The fact that the owner wasn't even apologetic tells me a lot...and if that's how he wants to conduct his business, he can very well do without my business. I'm sure he couldn't care less if he had one less customer. As for the food, the taste was just one note...overly spicy with everything marinated in the same spice mix or non-spicy with only salt and pepper. It's so spicy, it numbs your taste buds and you can't taste much of anything else after that. Plus, there's only one dip...and (no prize for guessing) it's also one-dimensional...super spicy. So, if you have a low tolerance for heat, you only have one option here. And the other choice of honey is only recommended for certain skewers. Even if the food was great (and it clearly wasn't), there's no way I will go back there again....no, nay, hell no! Was that explicit enough? >:( In this day and age, customer-friendly service matters and I can very well take my hard-earned money and spend it elsewhere. It obviously doesn't matter one bit to him...well, good luck....to his longevity in this business with an attitude like that! :P
Happiness Restaurant is a great homestyle comfort food kind of restaurant. It is a one of kind homestyle restaurant that you'll always remember.
千萬不能錯過這裡的魚、蟹、蝦、蚌、螺、蘇東等等海鮮,不管是拿來烤或放入火鍋湯底烹煮,全部都非常新鮮鮮甜。
Pecan Apple Quiche (Rm 18) This is my favourite too! I really love the crust. Buttery, flaky and very aromatic crust, with the almond sponge base lay underneath the juicy mousse-liked dome.
♥Verdict: The Wonton Mee and Char Siew were spot on and memorably good. I wouldn’t say no to a revisit, IF I happen to be at this area as I have a few options (which are nearer to my place) at my disposal. For those who live nearby or want to try out this place, go ahead!

This is the Malaysian version of wan tan mee and you can’t find it in other countries even Singapore. The dried noodles are dark thanks to combination of different oil use, the sweet thick dark soy sauce and other sauces. The result is sweet and savoury flavour that will keep you coming for more.
The LadyBird Cakes are beautifully presented with the beautiful colours and they are made from the Strawberry, Lime & Apple Compote with Mix Berry Mousse, Praline Sponge & Chocolate Hazelnut Base. Each mouthful of the cakes are sinfully addictive and delicious making it to our favourites for sure.
The Seared Salmon Fillet is perfectly cooked. Love the freshness of the fish itself and they are sides with the tomato seafood rice, zucchini and cherry tomatoes. It is just a perfect comfort dish to go for! Really good and delicious!
My personal favourite will be:Gingerman, Black Forest, Mont Blanc. Enjoy your Christmas dessert.
This is the main star that caught me into the outlet. Hong Kong Polo Bao with New Zealand Butter @ RM 4.80. It is not too bad for a bun. Fresh soft bun, flaky crusty top and with a slice of butter and a glass of coffee its a great combination.
NanYang Pork Burger with Fries at MYR 15.90++ (10% service charge and 6% SST = MYR 18.45 nett). I ordered this burger because I wanted to eat fries and they did not disappoint. The fries were better than those served in fast food chains because they were fleshier. I like the pork burger because of the thin hard dry slice of flavourful pork chop which tastes almost like the pork chop in macau pork burger.
Special pork knuckle in preserved bean sauce with tossed noodle (RM12.90) - using specially selected pork knuckle, they are braised for several hours with fu yue (fermented bean curd) until tender. Loved it - the texture was perfect for me, especially the lovely gelatinous skin. This is a good choice for those who prefer more saucy noodles. Served with a bowl of peppery pork soup.
The Steamed Ocean Dragon Groupa with Fresh Abalone, “Seng Kwa” & Squid Ball Taishan Style is indeed one of my favorites. The fish comes amazingly delicious with the flaky fish meat and ypped with the bouncy squid balls. The abalone remains its juiciness and moisture. Everything is perfect and above my expectation.
So we started off with some true blue Teochew recipes that is simply wonderful and homey to the tummy, before moving on to the rest of the mains and some signatures from this establishment.
We were there recently to check out the Dim Sum and had a hard time deciding what to order, scanning the Dim Sum Menu for many minutes. The dishes are categorized under Appetizers, Steamed Dim Sum, Cheong Fun Selection, Deep-fried/Pan-fried/Baked items, Porridge, Chef’s Specials, BBQ Selection, Noodles & Rice and Desserts. In between scrutinizing the menu and looking at the pictorial presentation on their huge wall screens, we settled on these delicious plates…
Salmon Sashimi Rice Bowl, 23 ringgit. If you like fresh, raw salmon, this would do it for you. At first, I was a lil reluctant to give it a try, for fear that the raw fish would leave a taste that is not appealing, however – this was a dish that came recommended, so I decided to give it a go. It was delicious. A simple rice bowl with white rice + egg + green salad + cucumber + salmon + tomatoes – it was surprisingly delicious. The rice dishes I usually fancy eating has spices and gravies, which this dish does not have, but it was good. It had a lil crunchy, a lil slimy, some meaty taste from the egg and plenty of freshness from the raw salmon. Yumm !
Ebony & Ivory Coffee runs by a sweet couple who is dedicated and passionate about food plus serving specialist coffee which is important from Brazil & Ethiopia .
Vietnamese Chicken Salad Noodles and Spaghetti Bolognese are other food option you can have in Ebony & Ivory Coffee, more as chef special so choices may change. Beverage has wider selection, from white to back, chocolate, Hojo tea, hand brewed coffee and non-caffeinated lemonade, passion fruit soda and mint cooler. Everything reasonable in price, not beyond RM20 except if new, premium beans for brewed coffee is brought in occasionally.
我很高兴我们在这里尝试过猪肉面。
In short, we weren’t too sure why this shop can be so packed for breakfast and lunch. Personally, the taste wasn’t up to our liking, Mama Love and Machi are way better. But for portion and price, you may go for it as it is quite reasonable for huge bowl. Not coming back.
Overall, the coffee is fine. Just the cake is nothing special and not up to quality. Definitely not the place I will travel all the way for it.
It was a surprised discovery as I hardly ventured deep into Cheras area for coffee hopping purpose, reason because I had always thought that the caffeine field is greener at the Uptown Damansara side. Guess I need to revamp this outlook then as it seems like decent coffee scene has already slowly making its existence at the Cheras neighbourhood (=
i.one is a cozy ambiance cafe with nice coffee which suitable for hang out with friends, in groups and solo! Stable wifi and baristas were friendly too. But note that not to come with empty stomach or starved mode since only cakes and some breads available here.
Yeng Kee is our new favourite for the best superior soup noodles with the cleanest but tastiest broth. We also enjoyed the fresh seafood used.
Before we went to Cute Cute Angku's shop, we ate breakfast at a nearby shop. There are also bottles of wine that belong to customers being stored in the shop. Customers will pour wine from their own bottles into their fish soup everytime that they eat at this shop.
