This hike is great for beginners and anyone who wants to see stunning views. The hike is flat and starts to the left after Sinheungsa Temple near the entrance. This 2km walk takes about 30 to 40 minutes. You’ll pass three different rest places to eat a meal or enjoy a drink. At the third restaurant you will know you have reached Biseondae Rocks.

So we head over to the cable car ticket station to buy our tickets which cost 9000 won per pax. They have time slots and limits people to take the cable car. We bought the 1.30pm time slot, that made us having spare 3hrs to walk around the park. So can you imagine how many people came early to queue for the cable car ride to go up.

And here it is. The famous stegosaur-like rock formation, Ulsanbawi, in the flesh. Beautiful and so awe-inspiring. The view from here is just breathtaking. Simply breathtaking. All the pictures in the world can't accurately portray how amazing everything looks from up here, where you have a bird's eye view of Sokcho, the East sea, and the rest of the Taebek mountain region. I read that on clear days you can also see into North Korea from here, given that the DMZ is just an hour's ride north from Sokcho.

Nami Island is like a big park, with rows and rows of beautiful trees. You can walk, cycle, electric scooter, take a mini train or electric shuttle to tour the island. It's beautiful and relaxing despite the crowd.

這回的南怡島初體驗真的太美好,風景真的不是蓋的!愛好攝影的朋友應該會非常愛這裡XD 一切只可惜時間不夠長,安妮又拍照拍太久,所以沒辦法走完大部分的景點

The farm features more than 200 sheep. The first thing that comes into view as you approach the farm are the herds of white sheep roaming on the green plains.

Daegwallyeong Sheep Ranch was indeed a very good place to take a quiet stroll (when it’s not crowded). If I could, I seriously didn’t want to leave this place. It has a strong force that makes you want to stay here longer. Definitely will come here again….

The day was weather perfect for the picturesque farm, and other than the incident with the taxi, we had a really enjoyable time feeding and taking photos with the sheep! The travel time to Hoenggye takes more than 2 hours though. You may want to bring some food for a nice picnic at the farm, and enjoy your day in the beautiful outdoors!
