Mushroom soup Rm 4.20 Satisfied with the rich, creamy mushroom with few chunck of mushroom here. Yes, I like mushroom soup to be creamy.
Swedish Meatballs (small)- RM 15.00. I risked the traffic and crowd for this! Okay, I couldn't possibly finish it all alone, but it was awesome. The meatballs were already marinated, served with creamy sauce and lingonberry jam. Would have been better if it had chopped mushrooms. And some vegetables.
Overall, we had a fantastic meal except for the Muffin and Sandwich which was just above average. This is definitely a good place to stop by after a busy day shopping. I would not mind returning here just for the food. The only setback was the massive crowd but I doubt that this would be the case should we come on a working day. Definitely a highly recommended restaurant!
Price of food & beverages are all clearly shown on board hanging high above. Hot Cappuccino (RM3.00) are not allow to refill, where else you may refill hot water for teabags (RM2.00), coffee (RM2.00) and bottomless for carbonated drinks (RM1.50). For Cappuccino, after paying at the counter, you will be given a token to insert into the coffee machine. Nice aroma will definitely be out to let you thirst more !! .. Oh, but please think carefully of what you plan to have to avoid traffic jam during the queue.
Of course, most of the food are cooked, or rather, dished up on the spot, for instance their signature meatballs, fish and chips, roast chicken/fried chicken, spaghetti etc. Their meatballs, made from minced beef are the best, served with thick gravy from beef stock, and lingonberry jam, with thick cut fries. Sometimes they have soft fluffy bun @ 50 cents each, which is ideal for soaking up the delicious gravy. The fish and chips are not bad as well, and priced at RM8.90 (I think, hehe).
