♥Verdict: Definitely a good bowl of Asam Laksa in my book which was memorably wonderful. I also tapao-ed 2 portions back to KL.
So on days when you’re looking to put a halt on fast food and looking for a simple yet hearty meal, do keep Wei Restaurant on your radar.
The Ma La Spicy Pork packed a powerful punch and carefully seasoned to go with the noodles while the Spring Onions carried a bold Spring Onion aroma with slightly sweet Pork strips.
We then had Najib... an unusual name for a main dish- roasted Spring Chicken (half bird) served with a side of Fried Potatoes (over Brown sauce). The Spring Chicken was juicy and tender... well marinated and beautifully seasoned. The Brown Sauce had not done much in its aid- a little watery and diluted to our liking. The serving portion was a little small for me though.
Known for serving Maggi Goreng and Cheesy Zinger Burger, they’ve now extended their operating hours to serve lunch too!
Besides, the spacious space (700 square feet for our Premier Suites) is something we enjoyed much! We have a living hall and kitchen with bar table in our room, with a screen separating the living room with a sleeping sofa (where additional guests can sleep). The working desk is also separated from the bedroom, which discourages us to go to sleep in bed after tired of working in front of the laptop.
While the sandwiches are good, the Nasi Lemak is truly the star of the day. It ticks all the quintessence to make a classic Nasi Lemak - salted peanuts and anchovies, hard boiled egg, cucumber slices, coconut rice, and the most important sambal. The sambal makes all the difference. It is spicy, hot yet just nice to arise a pleasant aroma.

Peri-Peri chicken (RM 18.90) came with nicely grilled tenderly chicken, compliment with mash potato and salad. The peri-peri sauce did leveled the taste but isn't burning at all. The portion is a bit smaller than the regular, but well judged by the friendly price tag and the great taste though
