Having tried some of their new dishes, I'm quite glad that I have enjoyed them.
I found the lor mee and braising sauce a bit flat, overwhelmed by the noodles and its alkaline flavour, and with not much ingredients except the braised pork belly.
Really flavourful and tender yong tau foo, well marinated with some smokiness. Nice and worth going back for.
Overall, I am not that impressed with the Peking duck as it is the version I do not prefer as the meat slices are combined with the skin. While the duck flavours were good, it was nothing too out of the ordinary to visit them just for the duck since there are many other restaurants serving equally good or better roast duck.
This was at the edges of Jurong industrial are near Pandan Reservoir. The braising sauce was vinegary, herby and really savoury and deep, and the bowl of noodles was quite good, coming with quite nice but slightly soft fried dumplings, and small strips of braised pork belly and a braised egg.
This was quite a normal and greasy bowl of prawn noodles, with the broth having a light pork rib and prawn flavour, and coming with small prawns, and generous and slightly chewy pork ribs. There was a consistent queue for this though.
The Popular Clementi Road Union “Chee Pow Kai” aka paper wrapped chicken located back to Jurong East.

The keow teow kia is not as slippery smooth as I had expected but the portion is surprisingly generous for its price point. If you are sick of the usual MSG-heavy choices, this bowl of keow teow kia th'ng is worth a try.
I actually do not mind coming back to try their other offerings but I will be wise to bring a food container to pack a portion home for my next meal so I do not have to gorge myself silly.
