Overall, for the price of SGD 168 for 2 people, it is quite a value for money especially when it comes with a huge bottle of sake. The sake was very smooth and easy to drink while enjoying the meal. The dishes were well thought out with some interesting ingredients used and tasted good. The only disappointing factor for me was the tuna as I do have high standards for my tuna sushi after being spoilt in Japan
The cheeseburger had a soft bun and a nice thick coarse grind patty that was slightly charred, smoky, moist and beefy, which paired well with the cheese, raw onions, caramelised onions, pickle and nice tangy sauce. The fries were also good. Very nice burger.
The Place One of my favourite new restaurants which opened in Singapore this year, I revisited Restaurant Khiri, formerly known as Restaurant Chedi located along Hamilton Road for its new second ed…
Aperia Mall always have varied food options. When the tenants of Golden Mile Complex had to move out in mid 2023, the popular Thai Supermarket and several Thai restaurants from Golden Mile made Aperia their new home. With old favourites like Tim Ho Wan, Nature Cafe and My Spice Affair are still there, Aperia Mall has become an even more vibrant hub of interesting restaurants and cafes.
Recommended by EatBook.sg. The fishballs were bouncy and full of fish flavour. The noodles were springy and coated in a lardy savoury spicy sauce, only very faintly vinegary. Old school and not overly strong flavours.
Overall, I really enjoyed the experience at Absurdities and I would say a bit more than at AndsoForth as the food quality was definitely improved and the presentation of the staff was also more on point. The interactive sessions were also more natural and enjoyable. Although the price point for Absurdities is higher, with the meals served I think the experience is still quite worth the price tag
Before and After - fascinating that we managed to cleaned everything up! Although the atmosphere and environment weren't as nice and comfortable as Sum Dim Sum, the dim sum here were actually pretty good. Would be back again; hopefully with my parents to try other signature dim sum at Dim Sum Haus Sg !
Tucela Gelato is an oasis for those seeking a nice comfortable cafe in the somewhat unglamorous heartland neighborhood of St Georges’ Estate. The prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and attentive. Whether you are looking for a hot cappuccino, a nice cup of infused tea or delicious gelato with waffle, this cozy cafe at St. George’s Road is probably the best choice in the neighbourhood.
Dim Sum Haus in Jalan Besar. Check out their Seasonal Menu!
Brown Butter Spiced Banana Cale, Classic Financier and Madeleine. Fragrant, buttery, moist and not overly sweet. Nice.
