Overall, RGB is a nice enough cafe with tasty food (mostly), and despite the weird emptiness due to the virus is still quite welcoming. I’m sure I’ll head over there again soon.
说实话, 这里的环境是还蛮不错的, 蛮舒适的, 食物的味道也还可以, 只不过那个价钱对我来说就稍微有点高了~
3 spiciness levels for Ma Lat – Mild, Medium and Strong. We began with the mild spiciness 微辣, and requested to level up the spiciness to Medium 中辣. Personally, we preferred the Medium, as it brings out the flavours of herbs and spices better. Quite spicy but we enjoyed the tongue-numbing kick a lot.
Roti John Titiwangsa, Dato Keramat is one of the best Roti John in Kuala Lumpur, and in this video, we tried Roti John for our very first time, and it was indeed a scrumptious meal! Roti John is one of the local Malaysian favourite street food, usually for dinner or midnight snack. The fries are topped on the Roti John and a generous amount of sauce is added on top. We're surprised how stuffed we are after eating the entire meal of Roti John!
[Halal] The Daging Salai Masak Lemak here is so yummy! The smoked beef is so flavourful and the smokiness actually seeps into the gravy!
Curio Dark Café at the Grange Ampwalk is one of the most interesting and intriguing cafes in KL, in our view.
So for this nasi lemak, we can say: sedap! The sambal is sweet and has a good spicy kick (but not tongue-numbing) and the nasi memang cukup berlemak. In other words – padu beb!
Reasons to visit Fox Paradox Cafe: cool, calm and spacious setting; excellent coffee; must try their kombucha too; delicious brunch menu – hard to pick a favourite but for sure try the Mango Gluten-free Crepes, Tenderloin Beef Soba Salad and the Venetian Slow-cooked Lamb Pasta.
Reasons to visit Damai Studio & Café: tranquil environment; excellent range of vegan, raw and gluten-free recipes; must try the Forest Dweller Salad and Thai Pumpkin Soup; be sure to save room for a raw sweet and give Magic a whirl if you’re in need of a pick-me-up.
[Halal] Cheap! Spicy! Delicious!
I don’t have a huge desire to head back to LFC, but maybe I will check with the central kitchen which bits are vegetarian, and then I could try something else. Probably going to steer clear of the drinks, though.
Reasons to visit The Lolla Co: Feel good family café; impressive range of handmade coffees and juices; really yummy, healthy menu – check out the Avocado Toast and the Maria Berry Sandwich!
Mariah Berry Sandwich, 19 ringgit The dish consisted of Cajun style roasted chicken + homemade organic cranberry sauce + spicy herb mayo with Panini. The combination was mouth wateringly yummy. The roasted chicken came in a generous quantity and that mayo, it was thick yet airy, with a nice flavor to it. There was also quite a good spread of the cranberry sauce/ jam. It wasnt too sweet and it came with bits and pieces of cranberries. Do imagine the variety of flavor you’d taste with this sandwich – from the not too sweet cranberry sauce to the herb mayo and the Cajun style roasted chicken. Yummmm.
If there’s anything Tokwan deserves credit for, it has to be his affordable prices. A nasi ayam golek biasa is only RM5 which comes in a hearty portion of chicken, rice and soup The ayam golek was mildly sweet and spicy, flavorful even on its own and the skin part was absolutely delicious. You can definitely taste the smokiness in it. But I would recommend separating the sauces because they are quite strong and would overpower the chicken’s flavor. The difference in taste with and without the sauces is very noticeable.

What do we like about Tatsu InterContinental? -The freshi sashimi sushi -The juicy grilled salmon -The quiet environment on a Saturday afternoon. The staff brought us to the side with lower table and it was just us throughout the lunch. The view from window was great! -The comfortable sofa seats
Overall, the sashimi, without a doubt was great and fresh. Tempura was also done well. Crunchy skin dipped into tempura sauce elevated the taste and texture.

I do not recommend Bo Dining. This place seems to live off of people who get more joy from sitting in a luxurious, pretentious space than actually eating great food. At Bo Dining, you’re mostly paying for the ambience and the “Instagram fee.” There are other brunch spots in the city that look nice but have much tastier food.
The food at Bo won’t blow you away, but it’s generally of a high standard and not too high a price. The ambience is pleasant and the staff are professional – we even had a party here pre-Covid, so I’m very happy to recommend it.
This is indeed my kind of favorites. The lovely plate of seafood goodness in one plate where we are enjoying the delicious XL White Clams, Octopus Tentacles, Tiger Prawns, Mussels, Tomato Seafood Soup with the Grilled Ciabatta. The dish is just so nice and seafood are superbly fresh and juicy.
We loved the food, and there are still a couple of pizzas and breakfast options I would like to give a go to, so we will surely head back here before it moves back out. I wonder though if these guys will look for extra cooks and extend the lease, as it seemed very busy and successful.
Reasons to visit Kenny Hills Bakers Ampang: To try and give a ranking of one pastry or bread over another would require multiple visits. Many numerous visits. I suggest you try this yourself. (Mon, however, says you must try the Yuzu Tart, take away a loaf of crusty sourdough, and don’t miss the maneesh bread from the wood-fired oven.)
Makanan dia pun agak so so. Hype je lebih ! Aku tak jumpa keserasian dengan jiwa. Keselesaan tu tiada !
