The pancake-like fritter was tasty and better eaten dipped in the Kampung Koh (what else) chilli sauce. The bubur cha cha was homely but wasn’t as rich as I preferred. Sad really.
The prawn fritters here comes with a couple of small prawns cooked together with the batter.
The Loh Mee came with thick soup and smooth savory broth. The noodle was so smooth and delicate; it just slurps in your throat literally. But, the soapy broth had very strong bamboo shoot which I found quite disturbing.
The next stop was Pasar Awam Kampung Koh which is a few minutes drive from the biscuit shop. Look for the shabby shack under the big tree opposite the morning market, and try the famous noodles of Loh Mee and “Loh Lak” Noodle.
