  Apa yang istimewa sangat dengan mango float ni? Ia adalah air mangga yang dihidangkan dengan aiskrim vanila dan ketulan buah mangga dipotong kiub. Sedap. Seorang memang boleh minum abis 1 cawan tu tanpa rasa muak sebab air mangga ni tak terlalu manis. Begitu juga dengan kiub buah tu. Ditambah pula dengan ketulan ais yang kecil-kecil. Memang sesuai minum waktu tengah hari. Hari tu kami bungkus untuk perjalanan pulang. Puas.

  TAPI! Bukan minuman je yang ada dijual kat situ. Ada beberapa food stall jugak sekeliling kaunter air tu. Antaranya; Pak Din Nasi Kukus, Churros Time, Denderam Bonda, Keropok Lekor + Cendawan Goreng Tepung Garing, Western Food (meatballs, pasta, mashed potato, etc), Putu Piring, Apam Balik Nestum, Mi Rojak. Haaaaa banyak kan? Bukan sekadar berhenti minum je, tapi dapat isi perut sekali kat itu uolss.

Mee Kari Sungai Putat has been around since 1990 and is currently managed by the 3rd generation of the same family. Now, both businesses are complementing each other, as those who come for mango float can have a proper meal at Mee Kari Sungai Putat, and vice versa. Because of that, the place has transformed into a popular stopover for tourists to enjoy a quick meal before heading into Melaka town.

  Mango Float Royale Melaka’s owner, Rizal used to be a food trader until he got the inspiration of making his own mango drink online. Instead of making it ice blended, he opted to make his a juice version served with ice cubes. At first, he sold less than 10 cups daily. But thanks to his perseverance (and a little luck), a Facebook page visited his stall and helped to viral his product. Since then, the business has continued to grow and he’s even looking at rolling out a food truck soon.
