If you’re looking for other nibbles, the high tea menu at The Coastal Settlement has other light bites, thin-crust pizzas, and desserts that you can order a la carte as well.
The Coastal Settlement Is The Perfect Brunch Spot With Antique Decors & Unique Menu. Check out this spot for an amazing meal in Singapore.
I will be back because I like the atmosphere here and the nice wagyu cheeseburger tells me that they probably have other nice food worth trying.
If you want a pleasant spacious cafe with a relaxed atmosphere for a leisurely meal, Saltwater Cafe in Village Hotel Changi will not be a bad choice.
I ordered the Crab meat & Scallop Laksa. A Bit pricey at $28 but there’s lots of crab meat, scallop and prawns in the #laksa broth.
Tucked away at the far East of Singapore in the Changi Village area, The Coastal Settlement (TCS) is a quaint cafe that has, since November 2011, been serving up tasty Western and Asian food admist lush greenery. The consistent quality of their food has greatly contributed to their popularity, and The Coastal Settlement is nearly always packed at meal times, even despite its rather 'ulu' (out of the way) location.
If you want a decent venue for large gathering in the East,The Coastal Settlement is definitely a good option. There are also a few private corners for any couples or small groups who seek for a more intimate affair. They have some asian classic in the menu, I will definitely be back to try that!
Liked the prawn aglio olio very much. Noodles done al-dente, springy enough but not undercooked, lusciously coated with oily and spicy 'hae bee hiam' (dried shrimps with chili) XO bits and topped up with three prawns cooked just right. Pricey dish (@$22++), but tasty and flavoursome. Yums!
