The chicken used here are kampung chicken, and it was slow cooked for 4 hours. No wonder this rendang chicken here has soft meat that are dropping from the bones! I can taste the various spices in the chicken as the spices are infused into the meat after cooking for such a long time. Here the rendang chicken is not too spicy which is suitable for all ages and races of our community. This rendang chicken is added into the bamboo rice during the last 3 minutes of steaming.
Aside from the delicious rice, nasi lemak bamboo is paired with chicken rendang that cooked freshly every day. Puan Seema use Kampung chicken and slow cook for 4 hours. The rendang Gravy with cover part of the rice and the chicken tender was soft, Nasi Lemak Bamboo is sold at the price of Rm12.90
NASI LEMAK BAMBOO RM 12.90 Loved the fragrant pandan juice infused nasi lemak kukus in the bamboo cooked in banana leaf with pure coconut milk and ginger giving it the natural green hue. Sambal was just right - more spicy than sweet but the icing on the cake was the mouth-watering Rendang Ayam Kampung.
Ingredient here is nicely done up and I am totally impress with their service. Very attentive crew! Will certainly come back again as the pricing is consider very reasonable. Food Rating 7.5/10, pretty good Taiwanese Steamboat.-Stamped-
Goljade cafe is a pork free restaurant specializes in their very own western recipes from salads, soup bread to charbroiled beef ribs. What's more special is that they offer free flow of salads, soups and bread! You just have to order a main dish and you'll get to eat their homemade salads, soup and bread as much as you want! Good deal isnt it?!
Overall, I was impressed with the decor of this restaurant. As for the food, they need to do something immediately about it. There’s just too much processed food!
Taifeng offers a few unique soup bases that cannot be found at other local steamboat restaurants. One of them is their signature Sour Vege with Pork Soup @ RM26.50. Yep you read that right, soups are not provided FOC here. With that said, we didn’t mind paying for it because the soup was appetizing and tangy with no hint of MSG. It also comes with plenty of vegetables and pork slices so the price is pretty justified.
