The Steamed Eggs were very good. The texture was just perfect and it had just the right amount of sauces. 9/10 shall be my rating for this dish
这家 Puchong Yong Tau Fu 的酿豆腐似乎只是用鱼肉来制作酿豆腐,因为我们都没吃到有猪肉或咸鱼的味道。缺少猪肉,咸鱼和虾的酿豆腐总是让人觉得美中不足。而且一件味道普普通通的酿豆腐竟然要RM 1.30,实在是。。。老板,这未免也贵了些吧?!在Batu 14 的 Puchong Yong Tau Fu 我也吃过,但是我觉得这两家的酿豆腐还是稍微逊色。最好吃的还是安邦的甜园酿豆腐 (Orchard View Restaurant),尤其是它的炸水饺!脆脆的水饺皮包裹着混合了鱼肉,猪肉,虾肉,咸鱼,芫茜,木耳,红萝卜和马蹄颗粒再搭配他们家自制的甜酱和辣椒酱实在是太美味了!最难能可贵的是,虽然安邦的甜园酿豆腐开在KL,但是一件酿豆腐只需RM 1.00 而且又好吃,所以大家绝对不能错过!
Noticed that the yong to-fu nowadays is not as good as the ones we had last time. The meat was 'soggy' and not 'chewy' anymore. I dont like that kind of texture. Furthermore, the meat was 'detached' from the tofu, chillies, okra etc... felt a bit frustrated actually... aiyyyy....
有人说这间蒲种酿豆腐不正宗。何谓之正宗? 曾经我也觉得酿豆腐没什么特别,就只是一堆炸料嘛,吃下吃下就喜欢上了 这间酿豆腐的特色就是有其他食物可点,例如蒸鱼,醉鸡,rendang 鸡等。
Next was the chicken wrap (RM3.80/ wrap) … the meat was hard and tasteless..there were gravy in the wraps but the taste didn’t transfer to the chicken.. thumbs down !
The soup based Yong Tau Fu is actually nicer then those fried ones. For me, I felt that the fried stuffs are just too oily and dry. The rendang chicken is not bad too but the price is quite expensive for just a piece of drumstick. Overall, the food is nice and I might consider going back to the shop to try out some other items.
