The chalets are built on the slope of the hill, which means everyone gets the sea view; if not blocked by your front neighbours doing yoga or worse hanging out their laundry. See the chalets all have rooftop sundeck with hammock, and clothes hanging line. And so when you draw your curtains, your bed will be on the direct line of sight of your front neighbour’s rooftop. Not much privacy I would say.
Resort ni di private Area . kalau korang jenis tak suka crowded places nak mandi laut x jumpa orang sangat. Inilah tempatnya. Resort ni terletak bersebelahan Villamas Perhentian Resort.
Absolute beachfront, amazing turquoise blue water views, excellent customer service are just some of the reasons to stay at the Bubu Long Beach Resort.
Overall, I did enjoy my time at Alunan. I do forgive the bad experience because the other experiences were great and satisfying that make up to all the other bad ones. I think it is a perfect resort for a relaxing trip (or even a honeymoon!). Be reminded that the stairs can be pretty challenging for the elderly, children and others who need special attention. Pack light and prepare to walk up long flight of stairs.
We were more than happy staying in Bubu Long Beach Resort. Located at the 13th best beach of the world and the breath taking view of the South China Sea, it is worth every penny staying in Bubu Long Beach Resort. Overall, we were impressed by the service of the hotel, the cleanliness of the room, the gorgeous food, the sandy white beach and the crystal clear sea water. This is totally more than our expectation. If you want a perfect island getaway, Bubu Long Beach Resort in Perhentian Kecil is one of top recommendations without breaking a bank. We will post our review on Bubu Villa soon.
Activities – the jungle trek to Long Beach allows you to see the quieter and less commercial parts of the island. There are also plenty of snorkelling spots if you don’t plan to go on any organised island hopping tours. We did try out the resort’s 3-hr snorkelling trip to Pulau Rawa instead of going for the more well-known Shark Point and Turtle Bay in Perhentian Besar. It was a bit steep at RM80 per person, but well worth the trip. You should be able to find cheaper packages on other parts of the island, as low as RM50 per person if you have time to ‘shop’ around.
Our room. Every room comes with open balcony in the roof of our room. Open cupboard with hangers, towel, bathrobe, cups, safety box, refrigerator, and bath essential that we need.
Alunan Boutique Resort is a great option for those who appreciate a cool and crisp bed to collapse in after a day in the sun. Family, quad and triple rooms make it also a great option for bigger families. On island resorts food tends to be the stumbling block but not here – while not fine dining, it is fresh and tasty and there was always something non-spicy for the kids to eat in the buffet.
