Taman Saujana Hijau is located in Precinct 11 Putrajaya, comprising a hilly area that's been landscaped beautifully. Entrance to the park is free and you're bound to be blown away by what you find at this public garden that stretches out over 47 hectares of land.
Used to the unkempt wilderness of jungle trails, Taman Saujana Hijau’s manicured gardens and concrete jogging path never appealed to me. But, it seemed ridiculous that I had travelled to the most southerly point in Continental Asia and Malaysia’s most northerly state, yet had not explored my own backyard. So in December of last year, I satisfied my curiosity.
Putrajaya Wetlands Park is certainly a great place to reconnect with nature together with your family and friends. Don’t wait, there’s a whole ecosystem of diverse flora and fauna for you to explore!
The equestrian park visit started with a stable tour. Upon entering, we saw some horses having evening bath by the staff. We had been told that Tun M has 7 horses here. The equestrian has 14 horses by their own which offers public for joyriding for a minimum fee of RM15 for adult and RM10 for a kid.
Cycling uphill after not cycling for such a long time was really sweat-breaking and heart-racing, man! hahaha Thankfully, my bicycle had a working gear which I can switch in order to ease my cycling uphill. Phew! No doubt, the guys had better stamina and reached the top in the blink of an eye.
Initially we wish to rent a bike in the city and cycled around Putrajaya, but we really lack of information where can we get the bike, so we changed our mind to Botanical Garden ( was a good choice actually, Putrajaya city was just too hot for a cycling in the morning, but suitable for a night cycling)
Rating Easy. There is only 1 obvious incline and 2 downward slopes if you circumnavigate the lake in an anti-clockwise direction. Pros Not as popular as Putrajaya Lakeside. Cons An A to B route rather than a loop.
Terra Trail’s relatively flat single track trail is ideal for beginner gravel cyclists, trail runners and hikers. There are several straights in which to pick up speed, numerous tight corners and hairpin bends, and a skill-testing 2 metre drop close to the starting point.
A small mushroom festival.
With A-B Trail of 2.8KM, it takes about 1 hour 20 minutes to complete the trail. This is a beginner friendly neighbourhood hiking trail. A good hiking shoes ...
Found some red coral mushrooms, and tortoises sunbathing near the wooden bridge.
Farm In The City has 17 stations to explore including pony rides. We saw alpacas, deers, horses, guinea pigs, rabbits, skunks, snakes, tortoises, fish, birds, raccoons and many other animals. It combines wildlife animals and tamed animals without cages. Animals are allowed to roam freely and visitors can feed, pet and take memorable photos. The design here is like a typical Malaysian 'kampung' and you can really feel yourself in a farm. We spent about 3 hours here and my children had a lot of fun feeding, petting and learning about these animals.
Step into the "longevity village" which houses a wide range of rare and exotic tortoises and turtles. On top of that, grab the chance to feed the giant tortoises in the farm. Get the vegetables from the zookeeper if you wish to feed the tortoises. You can also have a conversation with the zookeeper to get to know more about the tortoises such as their age, gender and so on.

Bukit Jalil Park (Taman Rekreasi Bukit Jalil) is a popular recreational park in the southern suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, about 20km from the city centre.
Located some 20km from the city centre, the 80-hectare park is nicely landscaped, with jogging paths, equipment for exercising, picnic spots and ponds filled with catfish amidst lush greenery. If you’re lucky, you might even run into the small local wildlife, such as monkeys, cranes and monitor lizards!
Good news for those residing around Kajang / Bangi area! Protasco Berhad has recently launched its neighbourhood retail hub, De Centrum Mall, within its 100-acre De Centrum City development in Kajang. Currently, this neighbourhood mall has a good mix of F&B outlets, convenience stores, IT stores, entertainment, appliances and general household stores. One of the anchor tenants that you shouldn’t miss here is the supermarket chain Super Seven which occupies about 38,000 sq ft of prime supermarket space in the mall.
Morning cycling around the Perdana Lake, Cyberyjaya.
Sometimes you need a nudge to explore, even when it’s somewhere nearby. Just one town away, it was on Jeannie’s invite that I drove to Taman Tasik Cyberjaya and explored this scenic lakeside park in Malaysia’s answer to Silicon Valley.
SplashMania Waterpark comprises thrilling water slides and key attractions, some being the first-of-its-kind waterslide experiences visitors can encounter in Malaysia.
