Renga-Ya at CHIJMES serves good quality wagyu beef at reasonable prices. Its menu also offers a fair variety of dishes besides beef. It is a nice downtown spot for solo dining, an intimate meal for two or group gathering.
This is the second time I tried them and they are even better than the first time.
Their sliced gyutan was from Australian wagyu. Delicious stuff.
As Renga-Ya is able to import whole cows from both Hokkaido and Kagoshima, diners can look forward to a wide-range of cuts for Yakiniku and steak.
The beef at Renga-Ya was good; too good. So good that you can’t see yourself stomaching the ground beef patties that you used to enjoy in a McDonald’s cheeseburger.
