I was more interested in trying the #20 item on the list: the chives with bean sprouts on the right. To my surprise, it was bit sweet, which if you know me, is not a good thing.
The soup was surprisingly light and herbal and very sweet from a deep bone broth.
Their signature Black Chicken is another must-try dish and I would have ordered it if I was not eating alone.
Food at Seng Kee was pretty good, and their large array of menu options will likely make it a place you’d return to for late-night suppers. I know I’ll definitely be back for their bee hoon, so if you live in the East, I’d highly recommend giving it a shot!
