Well, the food was still edible, and I particularly liked a fish that they rubbed in cumin (or was it ground fennel seeds?) as well as a crispy roasted chicken. But there's no need to come back here to pay these kinds of prices either; Pantai was a steal compared to this place.

The restaurant is pork free restaurant and they have many Malay patrons. The restaurant offers varieties of seafood and mostly are still swimming in water tanks. The concept is similar to Unique Seafood Restaurant where you got to choose your own seafood.

The total bill came to around RM 550++ including rice, three bottles of beer and Chinese tea. Overall, the food here is good and they cater for the medium and upper class customers. If you order seafood like Empurau or Spider crabs, the bill can easily reach RM 2,000 and above. I will come back one day for the Empurau. We had this dinner in January 2015.

The feast was unforgettable! South Sea Seafood takes seafood dining experience to another new level and now coupled with its Sea Cellar, pairing Chinese seafood with wine is set to impress gourmands from all over. Prices may be on a heavier end but bear in mind that its premium quality seafood brought in live from all over the world for the enjoyment of gourmands. Coupled with its brand new ambience, the wine and dine haven is certainly worth the journey for!

Oh, i'm freaking loving the open concept in here. i was totally amaze by the crystal-clear water in the tanks, the simple decoration and the tidy arrangement of it. plus, i was also impressed by the king size of those creatures. yup. everything is huge in size; the lobsters, the crabs, the crams, the cockles and even the fishes!

Presenting you, star of the night! Deng Deng Deng Deng…….. Butter Crab – RM47/ piece. The gravy is best to consume when it hot. Woot Woot. This plate of crab was finger licking good!! The not too big crab was fresh and the flesh is sweet and firm.
