Banana Slice, 6 ringgit If you love banana cake, you would be happy with the slice served here. I’ve been to several cafes whereby they serve the same dish, for the same price but the amount of bananas actually used in it is rather questionable. They call it banana cake/slice, but it’s basically 80% flour and 20% bananas. You’d barely be able to taste it. Here though, it tasted awesome. Not only is the slice dense and moist, you would get a generous amount of banana bits scattered all over it. Be warned though, it is filling. To truly enjoy it, its best eaten when your stomach isn’t full.
Taste:9/10(Delicious. I like their banana cake and the flour less chocolate brownie with walnut. Both are outstanding and taste very good. The chocolate is melt in your mouth type and the banana cake using real pisang berangan. One of my friend said the banana cake taste like cecodok pisang. Its somehow 70% true but this cecodok is healthier, tastier and lesser oil plus quite filling. I also tried their mushroom quiche which is good but the scones need some improvement).
As for Kinpachi bento, it came with many stuffs in small portion, such as saba, sashimi, tempura prawn, tonkatsu, tofu, miso soup, etc. The variety within the set made it fulfilling and satisfying.
Overall, we had a good time here. One of the operators was kind enough to check in on us and provided some background on TBX. We also enjoyed the neighbourhood vibes of TBX, and we believe it will be mainstay for Subang-ites for years to come.
Overall Review of Analog KL: Recommended. Friendly service, quality food, nice coffee. Gonna come back for their baking goodness and old-school-but-look-tasty pastry. And, we recommend their Sourdough Waffles if you love sourdough.
Creative, beautiful and definitely tasty cakes
Dedicated Chef Lee Wee Hong and Chef Loo Kok Seng continue to tempt the palates and senses of diners with the showcase of Iberico Pork Feast, Giant River Prawn and Snow Swallow. The dishes will be available for lunch and dinner as all Tai Thong's Chinese Restaurants from the third quarter of this year onwards.
The Mid-Autumn Festival also called the Mooncake Festival or Lantern Festival is one of the most celebrated festivals by the Chinese, all over the world. Mid-Autumn Festival has become an occasion for reunions among family members, relatives, and friends. My hubby and I were extremely privileged to be invited to review Tai Thong's exquisite and luxurious spread of classic Chinese cuisine at Imperial China Restaurant in Subang Jaya, Petaling Jaya.
Haven't been here is quite a while, still as busy as ever. As a shopping small restaurant, Jibby is pretty good. Tiger Prawns & Crab pasta is fresh and tasty, Seafood Hot Pot Stew is fresh and nice..
Verdict: I had quite a high expectation on this place but the food we tried were just alright and nothing really worth mentioning. The price certainly on higher side and the portion delivered couldn’t justify the price charged but the environment was great nonetheless.
根据您的用餐目的,您可以享受Jibby&Co或找到高估。
Pancake is decent, the crusted fish a bit below expectation. Coffee is nice.
A good neighborhood cafe and bakery to enjoy western breakfast.
Overall, I had a much better dining experience at Chicken Up Subang Jaya and for Korean Fried Chicken, they do get the seal of approval from me :)
超值的Snow Squid Topokki,让我们一次过吃到泡菜炒饭、玉米、韩式年糕、芝士、鸡蛋和超大size的炸八抓鱼!
In the past, it has been picked by Tan Hsueh Yun, food editor at SPH, as the best tasting Korean Fried Chicken in Singapore from a blind tasting challenge conducted by RazorTV. In this challenge, the editor was asked to try 8 different Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) recipes from 8 different stores in Singapore while she was blindfolded. After describing each of the 8 chicken dish, she was made to choose which one is the BEST, and has picked CHICKEN UP as the Best Korean Fried Chicken! And now, this loved by many Korean chains has arrived onshore at Subang Jaya, to be much nearer to Klang Valley folks here. The chic 3-storey restaurant is located just opposite SS15 Courtyard Mall, making it conveniently accessible and is also near to Subang Jaya newly extended LRT station.
I think the grilled meats goes well with the Arabic Minted Tea, nice!
I ordered the Hummus for a familiar taste, but I will try the other appetizers next time.
I'm very glad that LC introduced me to Oregi. I now have a favorite middle eastern restaurant after the one near my place shut down. I would love to try the pasta dishes here as well - it comes in 3 sizes ranging from small to large with the most expensive only costing RM23.90! Now that's worth the money.
Came to try the new item rm$10 "Salted Egg Ayam Kunyit Rice 鹹蛋咸黃薑粉炸雞丁飯".
Nevertheless, a satisfying rm$10 meal!

The meat and meatball here is fresh - the meatballs for order are still soft and chilled, they somehow manage not to freeze anything. My favorite chilled item is the homemade shrimp dumpling and the tau foo pok.
Among all, the beef meatball, pork meatball and prawn dumpling were our favorites. And of course there’s a buffet section where the vegetables and other common steamboat ingredients are laid out.
火锅吃够后可以吃软雪糕,这里的雪糕也有让我惊喜,以吃到饱自助餐厅的素质来说是非常不错的。
I will probably enjoy the cake and pastry here more than main meals. Chicken Pie is alright, and burnt cheesecake is satisfying. I like their pastries, so some for takeaway.
Would I head back here? Yea, I would. Food is on the pricier end but I’ve always enjoyed my time at Lisette’s – both of it. If I am in the area, I’d drop by.
Beautiful space with bakes of pure ingredients, breakfast, mains and fresh brews.
Crispy and juicy chicken that just melts in the mouth. Seriously, I don’t need any sauce to go with. They have 2 choices to choose from original or spicy and I choose spicy. The set is inclusive of Lime Drink and aromatic rice. If you wish to change it to other side dishes, you got to top up the additional. I paid RM 2.10 to change my aromatic rice to mashed potato. Fried Chicken Chop @ RM 12.50
Verdict To say Nomms serves quality fried chicken at an affordable price would be pretty accurate. Taste-wise it doesn’t disappoint either. This restaurant is perfect for those who are looking for a tastier alternative to the usual staple fast food eateries.
Nomms sebuah restaurant di Subang Jaya, Selangor menjual ayam goreng yang begitu berair, begitu tender dan begitu sedap dengan harga yang cukup memuaskan.
The beed slices don came with rice and an egg on top. The taste was ok, nothing spectacular.
I also ordered salmon fried rice at MYR 9++ (MYR 10.44 nett) which I kept most of the rice. So my lunch costs MYR 34.80 nett which is much more than my friend's set lunch so next time it is more prudent to order the set lunch.
冲着这里的现烤鲭鱼,我应该会再次光顾。但是鲭鱼单点有点贵,午市套餐的价格比较划算,而且份量超大的呢!
Here's the location.
All in all, we think that the buns in Burgertory are also worthy of a praise as it has ample amount of sesame which makes them very aromatic. Friendly staffs, reasonable prices and uniqueness of place are what's worth mentioning. Probably the only downside of visiting Burgertory is they only open for dinners and the difficulty to get a parking space in its proximity.
A new burgerjoint in the subang ss15 neighborhood, Burgertory! Recently “burgers” became the talk of the town since Burgerlab. And after all the talking I had a sudden urge craving for burgers. Soft fluffy buns with juicy meat complementing it with chips or fries over soft drinks. Sinfully satisfying yet I think I shall worry …
The cake was very sinful and pure bliss. The high price is probably because they need to layer the strawberries (an expensive fruit in Malaysia) and also put in fresh cream. The cake was also not as sweet as conventional cakes. Truly bliss
I suppose the presentation of the cake, coffee or food is better than what it tasted (I think), at least on my plate of Pasta. Food prices are slight on above the medium range (rm$25++beyond).
Sally & Chives RM25.50 Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, chives, and tobiko caviar served with buttery toasted brioche This was a total lie. Please let me know if you manage to spot any tobiko caviar cause I can't. It also didn't look appealing at all, and totally didn't justify the staggering RM25.50 price tag for what could've been easily replicated in my very own kitchen. I would 100% NOT recommend this dish.
Overall makanan Madan Kwan memang tak pernah mengecewakan.
Their portions are huge and so is the price tag that comes with each dish. Anyway, it's the brand name that we're mostly paying for. Their Nasi Bojari was good as always. The rice, Sambal Udang and even their Fried Chicken, all were good and up to my expectations. If you have not tried this dish, I would recommend giving it a try. It's really good and a favourite here. My rating for this dish shall be 9/10.
Nasi Bojari RM29.90 is another signature rice dish which serves with Madam Kwan’s Tri-Coloured Rice with Assam Prawns, Beef Rendang and Chicken Fried Drumstick. After having a mouthful fight with rice, Assam prawn and beef rendang (tastes scrumptious and cleans everything before you even knows) you will surely leave the whole chicken drumstick unscathed at the corner of a plate (which we always did and the main “silat” event).
Their Fish Head Curry was very good. Very reasonably priced at RM 32.00 and it would be good for at least four people. Came with lots of Tofu, Lady's Finger and Brinjals and the curry was thick and nice. Slightly on the creamy side too as they have added a little more coconut milk than usual. The fish head itself was fresh and as a total dish, it was really nice. My rating for this shall be 8/10.
Probably the best Fish Head Curry offered in Subang Jaya area! Forget about the Salted Baked Chicken!
A thumbs up to a good place for good food nearby around Subang Jaya area.
Definitely was a good meal!
