Overall, the RM34 we paid for half a bird is quite a good price (compared to its peers in the area). Sunrise remains a popular joint for many as we saw the ducks sell out by 1pm.
Sunrise roast duck 2020 , Sea Park, Petaling Jaya.日昇, 火炭烧烤鸭!Charcoal roast, golden duck! Rm58/ duck as of the date 2020 September.
Perhaps one of the go-to place for any Roast Duck lovers, some say that Restoran Sunrise's roast duck is one of the best in Klang Valley.
Ambiance: 5/10 Price: 6/10 Food: 6/10 (non halal) Verdict: Decent roast duck but I prefer the herbal version better.
So good that my stomach is growling already... but too bad, it's not open on Mondays! =(
The duck was well roasted indeed, that's the reason of the big crowd. The duck skin is roasted to crispy and perfection. While the meat inner was still tender and juicy. The marinade was very excellent too, make every inches of the meat flavourful. "Licking good" is no longer the only patent belongs to KFC, but also Sunrise roasted duck! Despite the price is a bit high, I still recommend all of you to have a try of it, and join the crowd during lunch hour?
Verdict: Definitely one of the better roast ducks we have had, however Four Seasons remain our favorite. I do have to applaud Sunrise for getting the skin on the ducks so crispy.
The skin of the roast duck is crispy and the meat is very juicy. I went with my coleaques and the 3 of us finish 1 bird. The roast duck serve with a bowl of chinese sour vege soup cooked with plenty of pepper, the soya sauce and a plate of white rice. This shop start selling its duck for lunch 11.30am and probably run out mostly at 1pm. The number of people coming in and out is very fast. Most of the customers are from offices nearby. So go there early.
The lunch was slightly over RM 20, not bad for half a duck. So if you’re going for duck rice for lunch, you won’t regret Sunrise; but if you can wait till dinner time, Loong Foong is the place to go.
