This "whitebait mix noodle" is on Sushiro's current list of specials right now, and it was pretty good thanks to not only all of those savory toppings, but also a nice coating of oil on those noodles underneath.
Tried the snow crab leg nigiri. Not recommended. Couldn't taste the crab, not to mention the sweetness that we had expected from the meat.
I enjoyed the bara chirashi at Sushiro and wouldn’t mind going back again if ever I happen to be in the area – whether I will go down all the way to the Thomson area again specifically to have this, I am not sure.
Essentially traditional Japanese classic premium freshness – the chutoro tastes every bit its price tag, which is more Oxley Road to their signature Bara Chirashi Don’s Woodlands Street 13.
Sushiro have expanded since I last saw them, with more seating at Thomson Plaza, there is one near the atrium and another next to the food court.
Although the sashimi was absolutely delectable and fresh, i felt that the rice wasn't that good. There was an overabundance of soy sauce and it kind of masked the taste of the Japanese rice.
Every dish I tried at Sushiro was fresh, satisfying and delicious. For their price and portion, this place is definitely worth making a trip down for.
Nonetheless, Takumi is still a good option to go for if you happen to be in the Upper Thomson vicinity and have mad cravings for a beef donburi.
