This café may not serve the pretty instagram-worthy cakes and all-day breakfast. Its beauty comes from within, and its dedication to details in design and finishing touches is admirable.

Lastly, we sampled two desserts and by then, we were pretty stuffed. It's not often that I see warabi mochi on the menu but they have it here at Boruto. Made of bracken starch, and coated with kinako powder. It has a wobbly soft-jelly like texture and sweetness from the sauce. Almost like eating water.

The yong tau foo and noodles are exceptional and we would definitely make return visits for them. We’d also return to try the Asian-inspired tapas, which better showcases Fu Lin’s character than their Western food.
