The exterior was freshly made. Its soft, thin and chewy nature had shown a big difference as compared to those machine-made ones.
Between the two, somehow the Popiah was more satisfying, perhaps due to the skin and fuller fillings.
The freshly made popiah skin was very thin and light. The skin did not become soggy or break easily.
Despite the portion of the rice is not as much as one coming from the Indian stall, or the smaller-sized chicken leg in comparison but for the price ($4), it is good value.
Although there are only two items on the menu, uncle Bobby has indeed carved out a niche in this area.
