Crispy and juicy chicken that just melts in the mouth. Seriously, I don’t need any sauce to go with. They have 2 choices to choose from original or spicy and I choose spicy. The set is inclusive of Lime Drink and aromatic rice. If you wish to change it to other side dishes, you got to top up the additional. I paid RM 2.10 to change my aromatic rice to mashed potato. Last week, we were looking for a lunch spot in Subang (specifically Japanese food). A quick search led us to Jyu Raku, one of many Japanese restaurants located in this stretch in SS15 known as "Japanese street". For lunch, they offer the a la carte menu, set lunch as well as several ramen sets. The set lunches caught our eye, as they seem really good value for money and is often a good way to sample the restaurant's dishes without burning a hole in your wallet.

The buttermilk chicken sauce tastes as good as it looks - thick, creamy, fragrant and a tad spicy, it was good dai chao standard! The boneless chicken was entirely chicken breast and was sadly overcooked. Stick to the in-bone version.

Considering how difficult it is to find an eatery that serves delicious green bean soup – too much santan? too watery? too sweet? too little green beans? This one here was perfect. If there's anything more noticeable at Go Noodle House besides its rows and rows of Chinese wine, it's the never ending queue outside! At da:men on a weekday, during a late 2 pm lunch, there was a short 2 group queue in front of my group of 3 pax. It's not that the restaurant lacks space, it's just full all the time. Even after the normal lunch hour. Eyeing the rather short queue, my colleagues and I decided to give the place a try. I've seen a normal queue at the 1-Utama during dinner time - it's insane.

Di Wei at Empire Hotel Subang really should have gotten more limelight amongst chinese cusine lover. Led by Chef Thian, the restaurant is taking pride in their new menu with plenty of sous vide dishes. Commonly a technique used aplenty in Western cooking, this technique is rare in preparation of chinese cuisine. Missing a couple of dishes at the meal, this would probably be one of the short and breezy posts. Arrived in time to savour their soup and a couple of their signature dishes, I should apologies for not being able to shoot everything that’s served. Be honest, I thought that they will make "Panda" food, just like "Hello Kitty" food but, the western and chinese food just be normal. They need to improve the drinks, because the green tea tasted very normal, and not get a good latte art. But, the prices are very cheap and reasonable, make every family can afford to pay it because they want to see you all enjoy to eat, chat-chit and watch movie "Kungfu Panda 2"via their TV in this cafe!

I had the yellow rice with a fried chicken thigh, potato curry and cucumber pineapple kerabu. The fried chicken thigh was moist, tasty and well fried, the vegetables decent and the yellow rice had fragrant spices - I picked up bits of star anise and cardamom in it. The sambal belacan was super spicy and very tasty, I loved it but couldn't even finish that tiny bit while Ezel hiccuped away but continued to eat it.
