Generous portion of pasta, cooked al dente, topped with shaved parmesan cheese. For its price, I felt the pasta lacked ingredients as it only had a few slices of mushrooms and some cherry tomatoes, but can’t fault the flavour.
6/10. The School's ambiance is an inviting place to hang out and chill and Jaya One is filled with business people who know how to enjoy life too. But Doi Chaang Coffee does not offer anything else out of the ordinary for me to frequent other than the ambiance. Coffee's good but not enough to draw me to be a permanent fixture and they don't sell mains.
Coffee: it was good. Not ultra-fantastic out-of-this-world kind, but much better than the usual Starbucks/Coffee Bean latte.
My Eggs Benedict was good, wish it came in two portions instead of one tho. Big eaters might have the need to do an add-on, or simply just pick something else, because I am usually super full and bloated after having eggs benedicts, but this was definitely a smaller portion. With that being said, the muffin was heavenly, it must be the butter or their toaster, I'd buy them in bulk for breakfast everyday if they ever sell it!
Food & coffee in here still need much improvement as its still along way to go for them by charging at this price and I do expect more in terms of their food quality. However they are just a month old into the area and still final touch up of renovation, do give them another month or 2 to further improve on it.
Sweet and sour pork chop rice set with a drink included - MYR12.90++ (10% service charge and 6% GST) which is about MYR15.05 nett. I chose a barley drink and requested it to be less sweet which they did fulfill. I like this set meal because the portion of rice is small and sweet sour pork chop is one of my favourite food from my childhood..
