Lala Chong Seafood Restaurant, situated in Ara Damansara which is just about 10 minutes from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport Subang / Federal Highway turn off...
I never know there are two Lala Chong Seafood Village restaurant and I didn't even know both of them located at Ara Damansara. Even though they are located at the same area but the main branch is located at Kayu Ara Damansara which is 20 minutes away from here. Same area but not really close because of too many twists and turns road to reach. It was confusing enough to make us lost our way. Some group ended up at the main branch while I was here at the other branch. I am wondering what is their business strategy in opening another branch.
THE STAR of the night - Salted Egg Crab (RM108). I don't really fancy much about salted egg crab, as most of the restaurant kinda screw this dish up. Though this wasn't the best salted egg crab I've eaten, but it's worth the mention still. The crabs were nicely covered by the fragrant salted egg, and you could taste the salted egg with every bite.
If you’re looking for a good bowl of curry mee topped with delicious siew yoke, this spot is worth checking out!
Luckily though, the loh mee turned out pretty good. It came with appropriate condiments of minced garlic with vinegar and sambal, as well as proper ingredients with sliced pork, prawns, hard boiled eggs, kangkung, bean sprouts, and those really thick starchy soup.
Wish that Chinese sausage was a little thicker cutting, overall not too bad!
到了最后,当然是要让你们知道价钱啦,他们原价这的很贵,但是他们一直都有折扣40%
This time around I tried their ala carte menu which has some good deals. The Sang Har Meen tasted as though if it went through over-used oil. The prawns were fine. It came with spinach in double boiled soup and century eggs. It was not very inspiring to look at. The Seafood Pot has all the right moves. Great succulent prawns and fresh crunchy green peas. My recommendation - stick to dim sum.
As we all know, CNY is just around the corner. However, if you happen to be still scratching your head thinking where to celebrate this year's Chinese New Year, look no further as we might have just the perfect place for you.
A chinese restaurant in Dataran Ara Damansara. A huge number of food lovers from nearby locations visit the restaurant even during Sundays.
鸡脚面 Chicken Feet Noodle $6 Thoughts: For me, the chicken feet is perfect; well cooked, tasty. The noodle comes with mushroom, sauce is just right with sweetness and saltiness. One of the best chicken feet I have tasted. The restaurant serves rice and noodle choices, chicken, duck, roasted pork, cha siew are all available all day. Although the published opening time is 9:30am, I was there this morning at 7:00am and there are already customers. Review: 8 / 10
[Non-halal] Tien Tien Lai in Ara Damansara serves one of the best char siew and a good bowl of Penang-style koay teow thing.
While it wasn't a bad meal, the price was slightly higher at around RM 12 (because it was in a mall?) so and it isn't good enough for a return.
My bowl of pork noodles with all the trimmings – intestine, liver and slices. Portions were generous, and the soup was good, as you can really taste the porkiness. Must have been boiled for some time to get the maximum flavour. Prices are steep for a bowl of pork noodles but to be expected of its location. Not sure why there are so many unfavourable reviews on Google, I found my noodles to be decent.
They have 4 choices and can choose any combinations. Minced pork paste, pork slices, liver and small intestines.
A positive lunch experience at 天逸轩餐厅 Restoran Tian Yee!
天逸轩餐厅 TianYee Restaurant (at Oasis Square) mostly offers mostly dishes from Sichuan which tends towards hot chili and spicy. The ground level offers the Sichuan hot pot and lunch while the 1st level offers ala carte dishes.
Sometimes, we need to rediscover our local heritage and add variety to our meals. This is one of them.
My fat small bone has some nice fat and skin but the lean meat was a bit too lean for me. Will not order this again.
