Like many Chinese-style seafood restaurants, Soon Kee has an extensive menu of stir-fried (煮炒) dishes with emphasis on seafood like fish, shrimps and crabs.
Soon Kee Seafood Restaurant is a Chinese style restaurant which is famous for their fresh seafood with a cheap price tag and big portion size. However, be prepared for a noisy environment cause it is always there over crowded with customers.
Food took a while to arrive. I reckon we waited more than 30 minutes before we could eat. The Siong Tong La La packed a punch from the ginger and cili padi. The clams were fresh and well cleaned. I hate biting into sand when I eat clams so this was a winner for me.
店里的炸水饺,黑啤鸡翼和瓦煲翁菜等,也十分不错。
All in all, I think Restoran Hock Gee does well for in its Loh Mee and Hokkien Mee dishes. Considering serving size, I think the food here is reasonably priced too. However, the dining area is unpleasantly warm in the afternoon.
The Loh mee was very very good! The chef by default had added vinegar to the gravy itself, but if you need more to add to your tastebuds you can always add from the vinegar the provide on the table. After tasting one scoop, it was like no other loh mee I have tasted and personally I think it would be because they actually made the loh mee themselves and they really never added much boric acid to make the mee super chewy, unlike other noodle shops! Gravy-wise, it was thick and consistent, really flavousome! Nice nice.. must try!
[Non-halal] For the thickest and most intense bak kut teh (BKT) flavours, it’s got to be (Ah) Her!
The prices are on the high side compared to similar restaurants nearby.
So far I personally think that Teriyaki Chicken Omelette is one of the best main course so far in Let's Joy cafe and highly recommended to try but bare in mind that it might take a little longer to cook 30-40 minutes as it takes time to cook and carefully place so the omelette won't end up breaking .
Chicken Curry Katsu Don RM 14.31 The portion was really small yet at a price range of RM 15 is pretty expensive for a bowl of katsu curry chicken.Anyway let kick start the taste first which is sadly bland like no taste still I have to personally add in more spices to enlighten things up . Served in a mini bowl of rice with deep fried chicken and Katsu curry sauce placed on topping with chop potatoes
总的来说, 他们家的料理还蛮不错的, 也提供给在 Shah Alam 附近的上班族午餐时段的另外一个选择
All these set lunch tasted delicious and my favourite was the Salted Egg Chicken with Rice. The sauce tasted delicious and meat was tender. Ding Wang Zi offers these set lunches because they know people are usually rushing on workdays and want a quick lunch. If you work nearby or happen to be around this area, you can try their set lunches which is affordable and delicious.
Food overall was average but affordable and they do have side orders and add on.
In summary, the pork bone soup is quite tasty as it is rich in pork savoriness. However, there is room for improvement in terms of condiments.
Pot Spot is located right beside a scenic lake in the vibrant setting of Eco Ardence serving tasty Bak Kut Teh by day and Hop Pot by night!
Start off with chef signature, Special Pork Ribs with marmite and special sauce mixture @ RM 38. Pork is marinated over hours, steam then fried. When it was serve on the table, the aroma trails around the table is gooooodd! Then you know that this is going to be good. The colour, the caramelization on the pork, the thick sauce and goeyness of it. A piece like this is heaven, soft, juicy, meat just tears apart easily and fats that melt in your mouth. Sauce is spot on and if this could mix with asam curry on my rice, it will be match made in heaven.
