A enclave generously swarmed with the abundance of natural lights that surely enthralls any food photography buff who is keen to snap the real beauty of the homey repast. The shady trees also provide a cooling shelter to the diners with occasional cooling breeze come brushing by your cheeks. It’s actually kinda relaxing, especially if you’re an early riser on a Sunday morning

My favourite by far is the “Tray’s croque madame with roast beef, swiss gruyere, fried egg and gherkins” – RM24. Every bite was pure satisfaction – thick, tasty beef coupled with moist egg plus sweet, salty cheese. … hmm! Be sure to devour this while it is hot.

With so many esteemed outlets flourishing ever since the new extension of Pavilion KL shopping mall came alive, various F&B brands also starts pouring in on top of the potpourri of specialties shops, departmental stores, jewellery and timepieces, fashions, urban leisures and many more. And among them is the stylish ACME Bar & Coffee, located at the third floor of the shopping mall’s covered promenade, just slightly further up from Michelangelo's (my fave Italian pit stop)

Although I've read some negative reviews of this place, I have to say I was pretty pleased with both the food and service on my two visits except for the overpriced drinks that didn't impress. The Spring Noodle Bowl wasn't something I thought I would enjoy but I did! Try the blackened salmon steak and grilled lime chicken or a bit of both in the Sea-to-Land Sharing Platter. Both starters I had (from the Raw Bar section of the menu) I liked too (and you will too if you enjoy tangy flavours). This was a place where the ratings weren't very flattering and yet it turned out better than I had hoped (in fact, even better than some I tried with higher ratings)...go figure! ^_~ So, don't take anyone's word for it...always try it out at least once (or twice in my case) to find out for yourself.

The Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng was suggested to me by the kind lady who sat on the table next to us, seemed to be a regular patron and so, we took her advise. Glad we did. It was goooooood. As mentioned above, do remember to request for extra sambal though, the usual serving was hardly enough. The fried chicken either came in thigh or drumstick and since I am a sucker for more meat, lol – the thigh seemed ideal. It was tender, juicy, crispy and a perfect addition to the nasi lemak. Overall, a yummy dish.

Feeka Coffee Roasters Restaurant

19, Jalan Mesui Bukit Bintang 50200 Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

Feeka Coffee Roasters is housed in converted town houses in Changkat Bukit Bintang in central KL. This oasis of calm was named for the Swedish word for work, Fika, (spelt the way it is pronounced), which means ‘to take a break’. Once here, you can catch your breath, linger over a book or have quiet conversations. Our range of coffees are brewed from beans sourced from local roasters, striking a balance suited to local tastes. Jamaica Blue Fine Coffees - Mid Valley Megamall Restaurant

Lot FK-05 Level 1, South Court, Mid Valley Mega Mall Lingkaran Syed Putra 59200 Kuala Lumpur

Jamaica Blue has been built on two simple beliefs that have guided us in everything that we’ve done: a belief in sourcing the very best coffee; and a belief in using only fresh, premium ingredients to deliver contemporary café dishes with a twist. Our name, Jamaica Blue, is drawn from the majestic Blue Mountains of Jamaica, one of the best coffee producing regions in the world and home to our exclusive Wallenford Estate® Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee. Our simple philosophy of great coffee and food, together with our passionate crew of chefs, baristas and service team are the Jamaica Blue recipe for continued success. My conclusion: Jamaica Blue offers decent food at a competitive price. Their coffee is simply one of the best especially their signature blend coffee and the price point is definitely cheaper than those mainstream brand like 'S' and 'TCB'. Other than Mid Valley, they have four more branches in Klang Valley, one in Seremban, one in Johor Bahru and one in Kuching, Sarawak.

This hot drink is a hot chocolate as it is using white chocolate case and adding a hit of blue curacao syrup to give it a vibrant colour. So that's why it is blue Latte. Once I taste it, it is so sweet. In my opinion, it is very suitable for those people who love sweet and it will make you smile and happy always. What is the best feeling is to enjoy the best coffee with a good companion or your loved one.

Anyways, we are so blessed to taste one of the best and exclusive coffee for Jamaica Blue's beverages which is Blue Mountain Coffee. It is highly recommendation for those people who love to enjoy their favorite of black coffee as you can visit the Jamaica Blue! When my good friend and I tasted to drink their brand coffee, Long Black, it is quite bitter without any sugar and smell like a very strong aroma of coffee. By the way, it might make us feel energetic after drink this. Overall, it is mild & perfectly balanced and sweet with crisp finish. According to Jamaica Blue, Jamaica Blue Signature Blend is the highly recommendation for the coffee lovers!

The cafe’s signature is their grilled chicken chop with coffee sauce. It may sound like an odd combination, but the sauce has a nice coffee aroma to it and a slightly bitter tang which cuts through the creaminess and binds all the flavours together. The thigh meat was tender and juicy, perfect for sopping up the sauce. It also came served with cranberry butter rice, vegetables and a baked potato with sour cream

My Personal Opinion OK, I'm done trying the other stalls already! :P In the end, it's a place I would return over and over again just for the prawn noodles. And if your family members aren't into prawn noodles, then their best bets would be the char kway teow and fried rice (and maybe try your luck with the inconsistent roasted meat rice). Who knew that other than the gem of a find of an excellent prawn mee, we have stumbled upon yet another gem in this shop...and that's the Penang Char Kway Teow & Fried Rice stall. Now that I have something else to look forward to here, I can see myself coming back repeatedly for these three items.....yay! ^o^

Wan Tan Mee (Medium), 6.50 ringgit. For 6.50 ringgit, you would get a plate of yummy wan tan mee + a soupy broth with 3 dumpling. It certainly did tantalized my tastebuds and my pocket, lol. I liked the char siew that accompanied the noodle. It is not the usually thinly sliced meat, instead you would get pretty thick BBQ flavored slices that was chewy and provided a complimenting flavor to the overall noodle. Mix it all up – delicious!

I don't understand, their food ain't fantastic to be charging prices like Chillis, it's slightly better than Pappa Rich perhaps but charging rocket high prices. If you deliver the right portion it would make much more sense. Sorry Dome, doesn't make sense for a cafe to charge that kind of price. Still, there are a lot of patrons are fine with paying something that's not great in value. Although I have to admit, their food quality is satisfactory.
