[Pork-free] Yes, we can confirm that the cendol at Makan Time is the best in town!
Specialising in Ipoh fare, the resto’s kai si hor fun (shredded chicken with rice noodle) is well-known, the broth sweet from hours of boiling chicken bones and meat, topped with large fresh bouncy prawns, to be slurped down with slippery silky kway teow. A once a week special, the smooth tender poached chicken completes the excellent ensemble
Verdict: Food was just decent, to be honest, nothing too outstanding but I’ll definitely come back for the Cendol. Perhaps for takeaway only because the poor service from inattentive and uncaring servers was kind of marred my dining experience here. ⋋_⋌
What do We Like about Kings Hall Cafe? -Kings Hall is spacious and has a lot of seating in different setting -The location is rather quiet, good for a peaceful cup of coffee without big crowd -We like the rice bowl and its pesto paste
Overall, this spot does have its own charm when it comes to café hopping stint in search for awesome treats. With some light chatters with your chum- the day is simply perfect!
The Cafe offers 9 items in the Western and Fusion food menu (rm$6 - rm$34), 20+ Coffee and Non-Coffee beverages (rm$12 - rm$15), and 5 Cakes (rm$8 - rm$14).
The all-vegetarian concoction was kind of a little expensive but interesting and satisfying! Next work trip here will try the Pasta, Burger or "Big Bro" breakfast.
Interesting to find that the "Bean Brothers" is a "Korean Cafe branding" with its own in-house coffee roasting facility in 韩国仁川 Incheon, Korea.
A must-visit café if you’re looking for a cool place to take pictures with your friends and also if you’re a fan of waffles, cakes, and coffee! This is also a great place for you if you are looking for a comfortable environment with relaxing music to calm your mind!
This is definitely one Cafe I can be at as an alternative to Co-Working spaces.
That cake though …. da bomb!! I mean, it sure was finger licking good. If you are a fan of ‘pandan’ – you’d certainly love this. Before the cake even reaches your table, you would be able to smell the tempting, distinct aroma of the pandan. Then, when it finally arrives at your table, digging into it and savoring it… yuuuuuummmmmm. I was instantly in love. The taste of ‘Gula Melaka” was evident too. Unlike cakes at most other cafes, whereby the gula melaka is often just a sprinkle/drizzle on the top, here, it comes with a generous layer. The cake itself, over all, was soft and moist. The grated coconut on the top was an excellent addition as it provided a difference in texture. I’d certainly give this cake a go again.
【#Enjoy八打灵 隐蔽的咖啡店】被提名Time Out KL Food & Drink Awards 2011 和2012 年最棒的咖啡店, 【Whisk Outpost】在 1 Utama Shopping Centre的地点是相当 隐蔽;所以今天要介绍给大家。
My girlfriend super excited, she been telling me cakes are awesome over here. She recommended me Red Velvet which is best seller and Granny's Cake second best seller. If were to compare between Red Velvet and Granny's Cake, my choice would be Granny's Cake, creamy, fluffy, moist, while Red Velvet slightly sweet for me, overall both cakes are fine for me.
Espresso with 7oz milk (Latte) Coffee art is simple but I would say this latte taste great. Usually I taste milky with latte however this one the coffee taste is strong too. It balances the taste of the coffee’s bitter with the milk, additional point is the bubble foam is not too thick.
如果这个椰浆饭跟那个uptown 很出名的椰浆饭相比,我觉得他们真的不分伯仲,平分秋色。两者都好吃。都受大家喜爱。
The price was very reasonable. My first but will not be the last.
Here's the location.
Generous portion of pasta, cooked al dente, topped with shaved parmesan cheese. For its price, I felt the pasta lacked ingredients as it only had a few slices of mushrooms and some cherry tomatoes, but can’t fault the flavour.
6/10. The School's ambiance is an inviting place to hang out and chill and Jaya One is filled with business people who know how to enjoy life too. But Doi Chaang Coffee does not offer anything else out of the ordinary for me to frequent other than the ambiance. Coffee's good but not enough to draw me to be a permanent fixture and they don't sell mains.
Coffee: it was good. Not ultra-fantastic out-of-this-world kind, but much better than the usual Starbucks/Coffee Bean latte.
the shop is still popular dine-in customers today at 8am.
Ambiance: 6/10 Price: 6.5/10 Food: 6/10 (non-halal, except the mee goreng stall) Verdict: Try Seeni’s mee goreng sotong and the char kuay teow.
Manangkabau Wild Board Nasi Lemak! at rm$8 which is a it expensive breakfast but quite a generous amount of wild boar meaty cubes all flavored with the strong Rendang (but can't really tell its what style of Rendang!).
Overall, we were very pleased with our meal. Max is happy to report that the duck rice still tasted good after so many years, and this was a wonderful discovery for Ming.
I will definitely put more effort in hunting them down.
In the evening, Kam Heong Coffee Shop in PJ New Town serves Teo Chew style braised duck and pork trotters but in the afternoon, it has a few stalls that sell noodles and roast meat with rice. We were there one afternoon for lunch and these are the food we ate:
There are still many things we have yet to try at Rolling Daruma x Olfactory Bulb; and I’d like to make a return visit when I’m in the neighbourhood again to try their other items – reviews seem to be stellar for their desserts and coffee.
The environment is very chill and definitely a good place for you to sit down chit chat with your friends.
Lovin' the lounge vibe already. Shady corners, cushioned seats, wooden tables and spotlights, housed within a cozy black interior. I would've never expected a second floor coffee bar to look like this from the outside. Surprise - surprise. They call themselves the coffee mixologist, unfolding an array of OFB signature blends - coffees, cocktails, smoothies, cool quenchers, cold pressed juices, organic teas and I have to tell you about those wonderful waffles
We’ve checked out a lot of pork noodles in KL/PJ, and Siong Pin still comes out on top. We find the broth to be perfectly balanced and not too heavy on soy sauce. Each bowl is cooked individually to ensure freshness and consistency of taste.
阿來魚頭米粉 Ah Lai Fish Head Noodles Highly recommended!
definitely worth revisiting for breakfast here again very soon in the future.
The eatery occupies a large space, easily being able to accommodate a large group. With Ed Sheeran playing in the background and the easy – going atmosphere, it is no wonder plenty of office folks made this their go – to spot for lunch. Do expect the usual that accompanies a packed eatery – plenty of chatters and laughter.

For lunch today at Sprezzatura; with multiple visits here, so far it is difficult to go wrong with Sprezzatura's Coffee!
If you have to kick for "really strong" coffee, then this cafe is the right one
Founded in June 2013, Sprezza Coffee is both a specialty coffee shop and coffee roaster.
Have had the Wanton Mee here on Oct 16 (2 months ago), but today's plan was for 合順茶餐室 Restoran Hup Soon's Home-made Yong Tao Foo.
Food today: 👍👍😋😋 7/10
One of the better in town is the Home-made Chee Cheong Fun and Yong Tao Foo here at SS3's 合順茶餐室 Restoran Hup Soon
s early as 7:30am, you can have your chicken rice here in this kopitiam for rm$5
Their Chicken Perattal however was good. Lot's of masala used and the chunks were meaty. I would rate their Chicken Perattal at 8/10
We enjoyed all the dishes in general and immensely enjoyed the Kam Heong Chicken, and I especially enjoyed the Ham Choi Soup as well. The Sweet and Sour Pork was pretty okay too, but since we couldn't get enough of the Kam Heong Chicken it was a little neglected.
Penang Curry Noodle is a new stall. Overall, it went well with the Kopi O.
Although the food here seems to be simple hawker fare, I truly appreciate how Fook Kee injects elements of creativity into each dish to enhance its taste, texture and flavour. If you are up for good quality yet affordable cheap eats, here's the right place to have your hearty breakfast or lunch.
Verdict: Both food that we tried were just average at best, so don’t put too high expectation like me, this Kopitiam still a viable lunch option if you find yourself at this area.
The Kopitiam offers I think around 12 stalls
Absolutely very quiet in Baiwago for many hours from early morning this week, just a few more customers in the evenings!
SS2's Baiwago is unusually quiet from early morning to around 3pm+!
Price: 6 / 10 👍
Price: 5 / 10 😑
Coffee Coffea in SS2 looks like a Cafe where (as I noticed today) people come here for group meetings or just park themselves with their notebooks, and there is a good crowd on a Friday 2pm!
Taste wise, I am glad to say that it tasted as good as I remembered. In fact, the quality of the fried shallot seemed improved, giving the already robust soup an extra depth of sweetness and aroma. And although the price has been slightly increased to RM7 a bowl, you are getting what you pay for. You get a couple of full sized prawns, generous amount of noodle, half an egg and sufficient slices of fish cakes and pork.
