Nestled in the quieter side of Kota Damansara, Ballotin Chocolate is absolutely loud in its name for their too-cute-to-be-eaten handcrafted Valrhona chocolate bonbons. Taking up only half of the shop lot, this shop is very easy to be missed from afar, especially when there is no signboard above of the shop. But taking a closer look at the row where Rebellion Coffee Bar is located, this all white shop with an elegant decor definitely stood out amongst all the other shops.

Taste:10/10(Excellent. I satisfied with the apple strudel here. The presentation of the apple strudel is also great as it shaped like a small purse. The filling of home cooked apple taste awesome. And pairing with black pepper mango ice-cream is a perfect combination. I was a bit skeptical when ordering this dessert but it turn out to be among the best dessert I ever tasted. The ice cream texture is firm and full of flavor).

吃后感：那个棉花糖很难吃，不是那个不好吃的难吃，而是很susah payah 的难吃，到最后弄到满手都是棉花糖。对于那个Himalayan Sea Salt我觉得不要放更好，LOL,因为吃了有点咸。而对于ice cream我觉得很好吃叻，因为每一口都有Cereal的味道，自我感觉良好蛮健康的。

Classic Signature Honey Toast (RM 16; half size) did not disappoint. Its toast edge are crispy while the body is soft. It is then topped with an overwhelming quantity of cream and a scoop of ice cream, which we whipped away some of cream in the end. Drizzle some honey provided in the bottle to give it a pleasant sweet taste.

My Personal Opinion Although the sweetness (and taste) of the honey toast was acceptable, the rest of the accompaniments just weren't up to the mark. I may be too quick to judge since I've tasted only one honey toast but the rest is still the same honey toast base except for the different toppings. What I do know is that I won't be all that interested in another honey toast. I guess I wasn't blown away by the ice cream...and I'm not a fan of the whipped cream either. Many would feel that they're a little pricey too (RM25 - RM35) for something as simple as buttered toast with ice cream but they make up for it with a huge portion size. In the end, I enjoyed my friends' company (and the drinks) more than their honey toasts, I'm afraid! :P

Overall, the price for cakes is slightly steep for RM 17 per piece. is for you to try it out yourself. Personally, desserts in Malaysia have yet got me excited as ingredients are not cheap. Got asked on if to compare to others such as Xiao, Tiny Tempress or others, I have no idea as have yet try on those where feedback for both of them neither impressive.

At barely a few weeks old, this new dessert parlor have gathered quite a bit of a hype - it was bustling with dessert purveyors, leaving barely any desserts behind - literally. Frankly speaking, with a supposed closing time of 10pm, I was very surprised at the rationing of desserts on display. Nevertheless for me, I got the best of the last, before they sold out and closed, at 5pm. I have to note too, that Mad Hatter Desserts came with a reputation. Spearheaded by MasterChef Asia runner-up, Marcus Low, who is known for his immaculate dessert-making skills, I was exceedingly excited to try out some of his expertly handcrafted desserts. Admittedly also, I'm a fan of the MasterChef franchise and so was my mum - a hopeless addict. Reminder to self: I have to bring my mum here one day.

The value meal set is too good to bypass so I ordered a bowl of wanton noodles soup with a glass of iced honey chrysanthemum drink from the set menu. This set included a char siew bao and the total price is MYR 15.90+ (10% service charge = MYR 17.50 nett). As usual I kept half portion of the noodles and the whole bao for dinner.

Ovo vegetarian nasi lemak (MYR 9.50 nett) with one hard boiled egg, tempeh, long beans, cucumbers, sambal and vege mutton potatoes curry. The rice has strong coconut milk taste and the blue colour is from "bunga telang" - the flower of the blue-pea plant (Clitoria ternatea). As I ate one scoop of sorbet and one scoop of ice cream, I had to keep most of the nasi lemak for dinner. I believe this is one of the lowest priced vegetarian nasi lemak around.

It takes a while to get our dessert and I was shocked to see a tiny portion of Melon Kakigori. For the price I paid RM 26, I was expecting something value for money. Besides that, melon taste so-so for us. The melon was not sweet while the ice was way too sweet that we left it untouched after finishing ½ of the bowl.

The waffle was light and airy, with plenty of nuts and peanut butter sauce. There were also bits of corn inside the waffle and the combination of all this ingredients, surprisingly did end up tasting like an apam balik. I loved it. It was absolutely scrumptious and delightful.
