Similarly, the Prawn Mee stall seemed to be new and I tried that too. I would say that they were very generous with the add on's. There were shrimps, sliced Fish Cake, Fish Balls and some sliced pork and the broth was pretty good. This is definitely one of the better Prawn Mee's that I have tasted in a food court. 9/10 shall be my rating for this preparation
This is the first time that I am coming across Wantan Mee that comes with Char Siew and minced pork. Seemed like a hybrid between Kolo and Konloh Mee but taste wise it was very impressive. I would give this dish 9/10. The dumplings were very good too. Soft, chewy and juicy dumplings made just right. Definitely one that deserves a rating of 9/10.
Do not miss out the Dim Sum and Baoz, taste so good! *hmm... of course you can't compare this with hotel or chain restaurant la!* No doubt Sungai Long 668 food court is a hawker centre with great foods and ensure that you'll be spoiled for choice.
I ordered two dishes actually and the first one to arrive was the Petai Fried Rice. The aroma of this dish of just amazing and the volume of Petai used was very generous. The price of RM 7.00 for this plate of Fried Rice seemed very reasonable to me looking at the generous ingredients. Totally enjoyed it and this would be something that I would recommend. My rating for this plate of Fried Rice would be 9/10.
The Mutton itself was just okay. What I didn't like was the fatty portions which seemed to be in abundance. However, their Mutton Curry was heavenly. Made with lots of potatoes, it had a very strong taste and it gave an authentic feel to it. Totally loved it so much so I went back and added more curry and they did not charge me for taking extra gravy. I would rate their Mutton at 8/10 and the Mutton Curry at 9/10.
Prawn Briyani @ RM 15.00. The rice was typically Nasi Minyak which wasn't even close to the real Nasi Minyak taste wise. It just looked like some Basmathi rice that had been coloured yellow. They had added a few pieces of Masala Prawns on the rice along with a hard boiled egg. If I were to rate their rice, it would only give it 3/10 and the Masala Prawns 6/10.
