I'm not sure if these guys have anything to do with the previous stall or even the Baguo folks next door, but a chuanr shop now occupies Shandong Helemian's old spot at 313@Somerset. It wasn't very good, unfortunately. The lamb was tough, the string beans were doused in a sweet soy sauce, and the potatoes were still a little raw. But hey, at least we're starting to see more chuanr popping up food courts.

Tangs Food Court (a.k.a. Tangs Market) is the small food court in the basement of Tangs department store at Orchard Road. It may not have widest selection of hawker food, but to us, it is possibly the nicest food court in Orchard, Singapore. Here is a quick look at the stalls available there.
Tasted much like the one I had at Nam Kee which kinda figures since both Tangs Market and Nam Kee are run by Fei Xiong.
The prices are reasonable and if we overeat, we can walk off the calories by more shopping in Tangs.
