You can pick to have either thin or thick for the fried noodles too. Comparing to the conventional noodles, the fried noodles are crispier and exhibit a more distinctive texture. Fried noodles are not something that get offered in traditional wantan noodle store so it is good to try it here.

The Koay Teow Soup was good but not great. Soup is lightly scented but as we consumed it, the taste started to build up. It was scantly topped with slices of duck meats that hardly justify its higher price tags. If you prefer a bolder taste, add some pepper, soy sauce and chili to spice it up. Probably this is one of the most expensive hawker Koay Teow Soup we ever had in Penang.

We order hot too. to my own preference, the Ice cold coffee is a must have. Love the aroma, of it that gives you a very unique finishing. Sort of like sourness is quite close to lemon which is kind of different level of acidic. Best of all, this is our local coffee. I believe there are a few mixture of coffee powder in it to make it such a great drink.

There are a variety of Apom Balik with different fillings, and you got to be patient as the aunty takes her time to prepare the food. However, rest assured you will be rewarded gastronomically. It comes with thin crust and aromatic peanuts & corn (the basic filling). Not only it tastes good but it is cheap as well - RM 0.80 for a basic Apom Balik!

The truth is that the appearance of the maggie goreng did not look appetizing at all. It looked like a bowl of maggi soup that has been left there for some time and the soup have been absorbed fully by the noodles, giving it a very sticky outlook. Taste wise, we felt it was alright. There were nice curry flavour but the overall mushy texture just not our preference, and somehow ruined the taste in our opinion. Nevertheless, if you happen to enjoy the sticky texture, give a try and see how do you feel.
