Overall, we saw improvement with the taste of the satay at Restoran Putera Kajang Satay. It is definitely better than the satay we had two years ago. We had no issue with the service and attitude of the people here. If you want to try tasty lamb satay and fish satay, you can visit Restoran Putera Kajang Satay.
The best recommendation is to try Otak Otak. Especially for tourists who enjoy doing new things. It is really delicious
Both their Chicken and Mutton Satay were good. The marination wasn't too sweet and it was just perfect for the peanut dip sauce. The meat was tender and no fat as well. My rating for their Chicken and Mutton Satay shall be 8/10.
Firstly, their Set Dulang Ikan Taplapia was awesome. The fish was so good and crispy and the marination was just lovely. Similarly, the fried prawns were also so good. No wonder this place is doing so well. For the fish and prawns, my rating shall be 10/10
For fried Chicken Lovers, their Set Dulang Ayam @ RM7.50 is not to be missed. The chicken is marinated with 6 different spices and is always fried-to-order. By default, all Nasi Dulang set comes with 4 topping –Air Asam, Sambal Belacan, Sambal Penyet and Masak Lemak. The Masak Lemak sauce was super thick and packed with amazing flavours. The sauce is homemade and it certainly helped elevate this dish from being a regular Nasi Dulang. You can refill the Masak Lemak for only RM0.30. Because it was well-marinated and fried to order, the fried chicken was hot and fragrant. The skin was crispy and the flesh was tender and juicy. When combined the chicken and Masak Lemak, the flavours gel well together for an enjoyable taste. Taking everything into account, we would say RM7.50 is pretty affordable because the taste and portion size was satisfying.
Boleh dikunjungi kalau tekak terasa nak makan lauk pauk nogori dan masakan Melayu.
What we like about the rojak here is the fresh ingredients and the sauce is not too spicy. A rojak that you can enjoy the taste when the sauce is not too spicy.
Finally, our Cendol arrived and we were eager to taste the famous Cendol in Kajang. Sadly, it was a huge let down. They had cut back on the ingredients and it did taste pretty awful. I wonder how this Cendol had become so famous when it's just not there taste wise. My rating for this shall be 4/10. I don't think I would ever return for their Cendol.
Though there were only two of us, we totally loved the Fried Bawal and had ordered three of it. The fish was so crispy and the marination was perfect. It was so good and you would be yearning for more and more. This definitely deserves a rating of 10/10.
Both the dishes were good but not as good as the one's that I get in Tanjung Malim. The Ayam Masak Pedas could have been a little more spicier. Also, the portion of chicken should have been more. But their Kailan Ikan Masin was decently prepared. I would rate these 7/10 and 8/10 respectively.
Their Satay was overmuch different in terms of taste and it seems that they had added more spices to it. Their Chicken Satay was good but the Mutton Satay was way too stiff. If I were to rate them, I'll give their Chicken Satay 8/10 and their Mutton Satay 6/10
