Two Chefs Lab Japanese Restaurant Bandar Mahkota Cheras is a hidden gem for those who are not staying in this part of Klang Valley. The food in general is good and the price is slightly high but they offer quality food
Tofu Cheesecake – RM12.50 Love this light & airy cheesecake with a subtle sweetness & a hint of tofu taste.
Saba Lunch Set at MYR19.80++ (price stated on receipt with 10% service charge and 6% GST) or MYR21+ (price stated on menu with 10% service charge) = MYR23.10 nett with wo big pieces of Saba fish. Drinks are not included in the set.
Overall comment: Doutor Malaysia serves very nice coffee and Frozen ice blended beverage. Professional and polite service from staff. Come earlier around 11AM, as the mall will be crowded as noon arrives.
以 Hario V60 手冲的咖啡(RM9)+Chocolate Croffle(7pm 之后半价,一份只要 RM4!) Croffle 很好吃!!里先生喜欢这里的咖啡,我怕晚上没办法睡所以没尝试。
Ratatouille Doria | RM15 個人偏愛番茄醬料理,這道法式燴蔬菜飯上桌後芝士香氣撲鼻而來,米粒飽滿,應趁熱享用。
The Karaage Don is worth to go for. One can enjoy the crispy and addictive karaage don. The karaage comes superbly good and they are really juicy too. Love it so much.
With their new opening here, Shabu-Yo offers you with their All – You Can Eat Course where you can enjoy the Australian Wagyu, Pork and Chicken with the price of RM 75.80 only for weekdays and RM 79.80 for weekends.
We went for the Australian Wagyu & Pork & Chicken course, which comes unlimited orders of Australian Wagyu karubi, beef chuck roll, beef karubi, pork collar, pork belly, chicken, tsukune and dumplings. All the beef cuts and pork cuts were equally good - fresh with great marbling on them.
It was again a more than decent Japanese meal at a mall that's conveniently located near where we stay. If you go with a value-for-money dinner set, it'll make your meal here that much more affordable. It you're a small-eater and happen to be not too hungry, the beef teppanyaki set that I had could probably be shared since I had difficulty finishing the miso soup, eggplant and fried rice on my own. I'm certain I'll be back as it's now one of our 'go to' places for a wide selection of Japanese food that's good and reasonably priced.
Actually, Rakuzen is one of very few (probably the only one) in this mall that can be considered a more premium restaurant. And, guess what? It was almost full when we walked in on a weekend night while the more affordable restaurants were barely occupied. So, what does that tell you? Cheras folks have discerning "atas" tastebuds too. That's why I feel that Sunway Velocity may have gotten their tenant mix (for F & B) wrong by concentrating too much on chain restaurants, lower end eateries or the common, tried and tested types. I (personally) would like to see more original and higher end restaurants opening here. This was my first visit to Rakuzen.....and it certainly won't be my last. After all, I can't see any other premium eateries in this mall that I can try (for now), can you? ;)
Rakuzen at Sunway Velocity Mall. The food here tastes as good as those from Kura Restaurant so we will eat here instead of going all the way to Kura the next time we feel like having Japanese food.
The Zen House Sashimi Moriawase comes addictively good. The sashimi is just perfect where every piece of the sashimi is really taste alike as it is.
My Personal Opinion Just two dishes in that tasted outright bland will not encourage me to revisit. You may think that it isn't fair only after tasting two dishes...and you're right but if they can't even get two simple dishes right (with no crowd), then it becomes an uphill task to convince customers to return. This was one of the worst meals I had this year (if not the worse), I'm sorry to say.
若说Aragan Yokocho推崇的是精致精品日式餐厅, 怎么欢妈和友人皆觉得唯有餐厅空间够大, 适合带小孩来玩外, 食物皆太令人失望了!
The sushi and seafood is freshly make and served with love
Overall, it was a SUPERB lunch for us. Their Sushi and service was excellent.
Yi Pin Ramen has opened for over one year at EkoCheras Mall Cheras and they are still going strong with their loyal customers. If you are in EkoCheras Mall, you can visit them for some good homemade ramen.
I had the Shake don set which came with around 9 slices of salmon sashimi, topped on top of vinegared rice. The sashimi was fresh and a pretty good thickness for don. Chawanmushi was also nice and smooth.
♥Verdict: We left the restaurant smell like BBQ meat because there’s no proper ventilation in the restaurant. I basically tried all the food from the buffet spread (except salad and Udon) and nothing really tickled my fancy. Let me forewarn you that you might be up for disappointments if your’re expecting some quality Japanese dishes from Japanese chef. But if you want to experience the cook-it-yourself Okonomiyaki, this place can definitely fulfill your curiosity. Do you feel the food served worth the price charged? Let me know your opinion!
With over 40 varieties of bento at affordable prices (and many of them costing under RM30), I'm sure you'll be able to find one that suits you. Taste-wise, it wasn't half bad, just quite ordinary, so leave your high expectations at the door. But it should still suffice if you're looking for a quick meal of bento with a bit of everything.
Hubby had the Salmon sashimi set (RM19.60), which comes with a side salad, rice, chawanmushi and miso soup. The salmon sashimi was thickly sliced and fresh, very enjoyable.
The Iki Matcha Blended (RM23.90) is their signature drink, an aromatic ice blended drink made using premium matcha powder imported from Japan. The green tea flavour is distinctive; the white chocolate cream topping complements the slightly bitter green tea taste. This drink also comes with two glutinous rice balls.
不吃牛肉的食客這裏的雞肉丼和咖喱丼都非常受歡迎可以前來試試 相信我這裏的食物味道和質量,一定讓你滿意
