Kohaku always comes to mind when I am nursing a tendon craving but...the queues put me off.
I was surprised to find bite-size Fukuoka style Gyoza here. The skin was not as thin compared to those that I had in Fukuoka, but the crisp skirt was good enough for me.
I wouldn't go as far as to say that they're mediocre but it didn't give me a reason to come back.
Tasty and unique. The portion was huge with lots of ingredients, definitely worth every single cent of it. I can’t wait to go back for Tomato King again!
There's a big pork mazesoba on the menu. It's not bad.
Menya Kokoro New Items are in generous portion. Surely to satisfy hunger dinners’ stomach.

花勝只有20多个座位,菜单上也只有一道主菜,而隔壁的天丼琥珀又经常在大排长龙,换成是我的话,干脆把两家二合为一,直接了当。
Overall, I was quite satisfied with the quality of the food here.
The food is decent, service is attentive but I will not wait in line for this.
One thing that Aburi-EN definitely need to improve on their service. There are quite a number of crews available but they are not attentive.

The overall experience is quite authentic and enjoyable, other than the porky meat which I feel should really be changed.
What a huge disappointment. Bring back the chef who cooked the tonkatsu the first time I visited, please?

Tonkatsu Agedoki also uses high-quality raw breadcrumbs to coat the meat. he breadcrumbs contain a lot of moisture and do not retain too much oil. Hence, you can expect a crispy exterior that is not too cloying.
Do I recommend dining at OMU Singapore? Yes definitely! Just remember to avoid lunch and dinner timings!
I would suggest giving OMU a try when the hype has died down, or perhaps queue now to take a good Boomerang for the ‘gram.
OMU wasn’t established in Japan, the motherland of omuretsu. In 2010, OMU opened its first outlet in Thailand, and has six outlets all over Bangkok currently.
The prices are reasonable. Hoshino Coffee is a good pit-stop for mall shoppers – whether for a casual meal or for a good perk me up coffee.
Overall dining experience was quite good - simple but decent meal.

Kuro Izakaya is a small cozy place. An amply stocked bar showed off the whisky collection in store. The wood-panelled internal space has a warm atmosphere. There are some outdoor tables.
Will I Return Again? While there were plenty of hits throughout the meal, I would say some rough edges would still need to be worked on for the curation of dishes. There are definitely some golden spots though; go for the onsen egg and the black cod, and round off your meal with the melon ice cream no matter what you eat. We won’t tell anyone you ordered the fried rice too.
Today, I went for their original guoqiao mixian above, which admittedly was pretty boring, especially given the minimal chicken fat on the broth.
If you are not a noodles person and you can't get enough of those delicious unagi, then perhaps the Ichinoji Summer Ocean Mixed Box would be your preferred choice.
BURG Kitchen, which is now part of the enclave of top-rate Japanese restaurants at Eat at Seven is a Japanese concept restaurant that specialises in juicy, handmade hamburgs.
I wouldn't mind getting that again if I happened to be nearby.
